How to Make a Whisky Sour


The whisky sour is a jack-of-all trades of the cocktail world. It’s been converting whisky-haters since 1870 and is crisp enough for the summer and warming enough for the winter.

Glass style: Old fashioned glass 

Jigger
 
 
Knife
 
Cutting board
 

List of Ingredients


2 oz whisky 
 
1/2 oz lemon juice 

1/2 oz simple syrup 

1 cup ice 
 
 

Mixing Directions

Low ball glass with a Whisky Sour garnished with a cherry and orange slice

Add ice to your old fashioned glass. 

In your cocktail shaker, add ice, lemon juice, simple syrup and whisky.


Shake until chilled. 

Strain into old fashioned glass. 

Garnish with a cherry and an orange slice.
