Mezcal BRIJ3 was born through an effort to embrace the customs and traditions of Oaxaca, and the artisans of San Martín Tilcajete, known as "the place where the Alebrijes are born."Each bottle is hand painted by the regional artists of San Martín Tilcajete, with their own designs and colours, making each bottle unique to itself. Aromas of freshly cut grass, chlorophyll, citrus fruits such as lemon and lime, as well as smoked and toasted notes. On the palate it is youthful and strong with balanced acidity, offering a long finish with a pleasant balance of smoke and a fresh lingering herbaceous quality.

A four-grain, high-rye straight bourbon whiskey aged for a minimum of 4 years in virgin American oak barrels. Notes of honeysuckle and citrus which are balanced by a bright, seamless acidity.

Aging in both bourbon and sherry casks is responsible for the complex flavour profile. Aromas include: chocolate, delicate spice and dried fruits. The palate is balanced and sold with hints of caramel and wood.

On the palate there is a noticeable delicacy and softness in texture and style. The balance of flavour is superb as the smoke wraps loosely around the sweetness drawn from deep within the oak, Coconut, vanilla custard, lemon honey combines with smoked oysters and sun baked salty sand. The finish is smoky but also the soft sweetness of fudge and malted barley, orange, mango and Banoffee pie hinting of the depth and quality of the oak. The many layers interchange on each sip.

With this edition of Black Art, inspiration was taken from the groundwork done in creating the first editions of this series, where there was a relentless pursuit to layer flavour.

Aged 29 years. Orange barley sugars, ginger nut biscuits and lemon meringue pie are followed by sweet apricot jam and marzipan. The toasted oak brings smooth chocolate and vanilla notes. Beautifully complemented with syrupy fruit, raisins, plum and melon. Over time, iodine and a hint of coconut come through, with a delicate oak spices of warming ginger and cinnamon. A velvet texture, the depth and balance of this single malt glides across the palate.

The oak cradles the soft fruit of distillation with a perfect balance and harmony. The delicate sweetness and luscious texture are like velvet on the palate. The balance of those sweet ripe stoned fruit flavours with the vanilla, caramel and brown sugar notes of the oak is perfect, this vintage of Islay barley is bottled at just the right moment to capture the DNA of our island and the whisky we distil on its shores. Add a touch of water and watch as the natural oils react in the glass releasing wonderful floral notes of hawthorn and heather.

This single malt is malted to a stratospheric 137.3 PPM and matured in the highest quality American oak casks. Initial aromas of sweet nutty smoke, barley sugar and ripe fruit lead way to syrupy apricot, ripe peat, malty vanilla, crème brulee, honey, tablet, coconut, almonds and charred oak. On the palate, dense smoked granola and honeyed lead to smoked apricot jam, barley four, peat embers, burnt heather, gooseberry citrus and sweet Turkish delight. Oak chips, sugared almonds and chocolate limes come toward the finish.

Bright citrus, smoke and a distinct minerality come through on the palate, followed by charred oak and beach bonfire embers. Toffee and creamy vanilla are balanced with the earthy smoke, with bright notes of pear, gooseberry fool and green apple simultaneously adding brightness and depth. Roasted coffee, hints of clove and nutmeg begin to come to the fore, with a gentle hint of heather honey.

The barley harvest for this 2013 vintage was raised on Islay by seven Islay farming partners. This single malt has matured in ex-American and ex-wine casks hailing from the Pessac-Léognan region of France. The first taste is a wondrous thing; all at once, the salinity, the fruit, the light peat smoke, and the sweet oak show their presence in a whirl of complexity to entice you. The aging from carefully selected oak allows a subtle almond note to combine with coconut, caramel, vanilla, and muscovado sugar. The peat smoke in this whisky is as beautifully balanced as ever, weaving through the components, highlighting them but not dominating. A dram that is gentle on the palate yet has a tremendous depth of flavour.

Made from 100% Scottish barley, triple distilled, and then matured for its entire life by the shores of Lochindaal in premium American oak; it is a testament to the quality our ingredients. Smooth as pebbles in a pool. It’s clean, fresh and lively with both the oak and the grain in perfect harmony.

This Islay whisky shows initial aromas of sweet pear drops, vanilla fudge, chocolate and marzipan, on the palate the oak and malt notes overlap each other with toasted rye bread, buttery popcorn, fresh oak, vanilla fudge and smooth caramel. The organic barley seems to give more fruit from the distillation and more viscous texture which is a joy to the olfactory senses.

The unique label shows the 1953 tractor, the first wheeled tractor used at the Château de la Gardine which worked hundreds of hours with Maxime Brunel on board. Brunel de la Gardine Le Petit Maxime Côtes-du-Rhône is a fruity wine from organically grown grapes, with aromas of red fruit and a hint of red pepper.

This deep amber whiskey has a complex aroma of vanilla, mint and molasses. Pleasantly sweet to the taste with notes of brown sugar and spice that give way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. This whiskey finishes long and smooth with serious depth.

A smooth, rich and complex handcrafted rum, XO is aged up to 18 years in bourbon barrels and finished in Spanish white oak sherry casks to achieve a beautifully balanced, endlessly sippable rum. This special release is distilled and aged in Panama, where a truly unique and unquestionably superior rum is created. Aromas of toffee, toasted oak, and vanilla give way to orange zest, peppery spice and even a hint of coffee on the palate.

The 2010 Cognac cask is a limited edition rare cask finished, non chill-filtered Irish single malt whiskey. After maturing quietly for exactly 7 and a half years in Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, Helen Mulholland, our Master Blender, finished this whiskey in rare Cognac casks for 2 and a half years. The fruit-rich Cognac imparts mellow dried fruit notes and a spicy vanilla sweetness.

This Carmenere and Malbec blend is deep bluish-cherry-red in colour. Aromas of fresh forest fruits appear on the nose and are complemented by spicy notes, tobacco leaf, and black pepper, along with an elegant touch of coffee. The palate is impressive for its elegance and volume. Oak aging lends it more refinement and persistence, which foretells a long life in the cellar.

A blend of Syrah, Carignan, Grenache, Marsanne and Roussanne grapes. Granata red color. Appearing at first aromas of cassis, blueberries and raspberry accompanied by herbal and spicy notes such as rosemary, tarragon and black pepper and at the end soft mineral touches appear. On the palate it highlights its biting and vibrant acidity, which together with a juicy and fresh structure make this wine a great blend, promising a long storage in the bottle.

An intense, violet-red, our Tributo Carmenere shows tremendous intensity on the nose as well. Opens with dark fruit aromas with a touch of spice, followed by characteristic notes of the variety, such as roasted red pepper & black pepper. Very soft & silky tannins unfold on the palate, whose vibrant acidity & tremendous volume suggest good cellaring potential.

A complex gin created with white truffles from Piedmont, Italy. Each exquisite botanical is distilled individually to preserve the purity of its essence and tailored into a bold, surprising gin where traditional Juniper perfectly compliments rich, earthy notes that evoke fresh pine. A long, expressive finish and unique, rewarding taste.

Intense garnet colour with the essence of menthol notes on the nose mixed with blackcurrant fruit and a range of wild red forest fruit aromas. Generous and seductive palate, cascading flavours offering a nice warm touch of spices mixed with redcurrant and a hint of liquorice. The mouth-feel is smooth and creamy all around, with an expansive finish displaying well-integrated soft tannins, which will ensure long ageing.

The Negroni is made with Campari, Cinzano Rosso Vermouth and London Dry Gin. To the eye, antique red with amber-orange tint. Aromatics of juniper berry and spiced herbal lead to flavours of juniper citrus, herbs, spice, wormwood and bitter root.

Ruby red with a golden rim, good depth, lively bright colour. It retains the ripe red-berry fruit aromas of blackberries, blueberries, and black plums well. Gradually it opens up to reveal smoky, toasted wood nuances, with spices and hints of minerals and tobacco. This is another typical aspect of this wine which has evolved during its time in the barrel and the bottle. Smooth mouth-feel, with sweet, polished tannins. A long, elegant, perfumed finish with final hints of coffee with chocolate.

Ruby red with a bright and deep, golden hue on the rim. Complex nose, on the fruit side, it reveals the sum of the sensations contributed by the grape varieties used in its blend: cherry, black plum, ripe juicy blackberries. The time spent in the cask brings cloves, pepper, vanilla and coconut, enriched by the aromas which evolve during the time in the bottle. Smooth balanced mouth-feel, elegant and full, with a long, lingering finish.

The flavours combine intimately, and it's all there, from the fruit to the oak, not forgetting the floral and spicy notes in abundance!

This wine has a light straw colour in the glass with moderate viscosity. The nose shows notes of mango, peaches in syrup and pineapple. The palate is medium sweet but not cloying with flavours of ripe pear, golden delicious apple, peach and pineapple.

A gorgeous expression of Red Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine has aromas of blackberry, marionberry and black cherry. The palate is supple and juicy, with a voluminous texture, black fruit and a complex French oak- inspired spice box note.

Medium gold colour; smoky, peaty aromas with hints of vanilla and marmalade; smoke and tar flavours with underlying notes of herbs and orange.

The 2018 Cap De Faugeres is composed of 85% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. This wine opens with intense scents of preserved plums, kirsch, chocolate and menthol with hints of wood smoke and spices. The palate has a velvety texture with plenty of red fruit character.
