The finish is long with fine-grained tannins from sixteen months maturation in a combination of new and older French oak hogsheads. Although drinking well now this wine may be cellared for up to ten years from vintage.

Aromas of dark blackcurrant with touches of cedar and dried herbs. A supple palate with cherry and dark plum flavours finishing gently with very soft tannins and creamy vanilla.

Our 2012 Pfeiffer Shiraz is vibrant purple-red in colour, with an inviting nose of dark fruits and spice. The palate is rich and robust, with lovely depth across the mid-palate and a lingering spice on the finish.

On the palate, notes of red current, raspberry, Mariposa plum, cranberry and vanilla. Well - balanced with subtle oak flavour and possessing soft tannins.
