Very flavourable with notes of raspberry, cranberry, redcurrant, rhubarb and a touch of cassis in the taste profile. Grainy tannins interwoven with supportive oak add to the balance of this well - structured wine.

Stylistically, most closely aligned to the 1963 Grange and yet stridently extolling its own personality. Fresh and refined. Red liquorice, gravy reduction flavours and black olive tapenade to the fore.

Quite aromatic with hints of preserved figs, black plums, blackberry and black licorice. Well-balanced wine with oak influence effortlessly merging with blue and black fruits and dark chocolate notes.

El Buen Alfarero translates as "the good potter", this artisanal wine is unique and no two bottle are exactly alike as they are dressed by hand. This blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Albillo has been aged for 7 months in earthenware jars called "tinajas", just as it would have been over 100 years ago. It is bright, dark-hued purple-red with intense bluish notes. the nose is bold with outstanding red fruits. In the mouth it is elegant, fresh, and tasty with mineral notes combined with red and dark fruit. Round velvety tannins lead to a soft subtle finish.
