This grappa is derived from Glera grapes which are the grapes used to make Prosecco and has been aged in barrels that have undergone a special smoking process. Its olfactory notes are reminiscent of dried raisins, vanilla & sweet spices. The taste is smooth & round and is characterized by a spicy aftertaste with a delicate aroma of vanilla on the finish.

The wine, a straw yellow in colour, shows intense and ample aromas of melon, pineapple, and orange flowers. It is lightly sweet in flavour with a balanced acidity which adds to its drinking pleasure.

Sassicaia 2019 spent 25 months in oak (one-third new). Quite pale in the glass, the nose is extremely graceful and intense with a lavender note enhanced by restrained bramble fruits, fermented citrus peel, an intense violet aroma and graphite minerality in depth. The attack is soft and full, the flavor savoury and cedary through to the finish, with integrated velvety tannins and lifted acidity. A perfectly woven structure is bound with signature freshness and fruit vibrancy, making this one for the long haul. Drinking window: 2022-2050.

A traditional 85% Cabernet Sauvignon and 15% Cabernet Franc blend, its blackcurrant, dusty, leafy and cedary character is brought into focus by an intense and balsamic palate. It's poised and light on its feet with super-fresh acidity and a fine-grained, almost imperceptible tannic structure. Ripe and tangy raspberry and blueberry fruits linger on the mid-palate, leading to a long, fresh finish with some cream and chocolate notes. This will reward cellaring into the 2050s.

The Ripasso Acinatico is obtained from the Valpolicella Classico way via re-fermentation and a second maceration over grape skins that are still mildly sweet of Amorone and Recioto, thereby enriching the body and colour of the wine. Intense yet subtle nose of spices and vanilla. The warm, full-bodied palate with traces of mature, dried fruits, spices and tobacco is reminiscent of an Amarone.

This wine is aged in French oak barrels previously used for Guidalberto and Sassicaia. It is released on the market three months after bottling. It is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. Filodora sparkling Prosecco is the result of the strict selection and careful vinification of Glera grapes grown on the gentle hills of the Valdobbiadene area. Light straw yellow and bright. Elegant, white and lively foam, with very fine and thin perlage. Floral nose with hints of acacia, wisteria flowers and wisps of spice. On the palate it's crisp with a fine fruity finish.
