The nose of our Pinot Noir is ripe with plum, aromatic spice and red florals. The palate is focused with a savoury architecture; bittersweet chocolate, dark fruit and spice play with leather and hints of earthiness. Chalky tannins linger on a persistent finish

The vines are grown on low-vigour, stony, clay-rich soil, in a cool maritime mesoclimate. The naturally tiny yields of under 30 hl/ha and philosophy of expressing the terroir in the wines- give rise to a certain tightness, tannin line and elevated length to balance the richness and generosity of this Pinot Noir. Wonderfully high natural acidity and dense, complex, concentrated fruit flavours. Soft, “sweet” and generally shows hints of that alluring savoury “primal” character along with a dark, spicy, complex primary fruit perfume. Like 2009, another excellent vintage.

COLOUR Medium red colour. AROMA Bright fruit aromas of fresh crushed berries, hints of spicy oak, and some forest floor notes. Soft tannins ensure that the wine is approachable in its youth, however, it does have structure to enable the wine to develop over the years.

Here is a fresh style with good Pinot Noir character, which offers cherry and raspberry, white pepper and delicate spice with cedar box, carrot tops and the expected forest floor notes. It’s approachable and juicy with silky fruit, cocoa and fine spices lingering across the finish.

This red blend shows aromatic layers of fresh red fruit, cassis and pencil shavings with undertones of tobacco and dark chocolate. The palate is elegant and soft with nuances of oak and dark plums.

This wine is a great example of modern-styled, South African Chenin blanc and shows true elegance. It displays prominent aromas of guava, lime and ripe melon. The palate is vibrant and fresh with a linear acidity and an enduring finish.
