Deep ruby red colour with hints of purple; ripe blackberry and plum aromas with coffee, cedar and smoky notes; dry, full-bodied; black cherry flavour, well balanced with a long smoky finish.

Straw yellow colour with mousse of medium bubbles; apple, toast and citrus aromas; dry, green apple and clean citrus finish

The seamlessly layered flavours build to a crescendo of fresh and juicy dark fruits ascended with touches of orange zest, licorice and dark chocolate. The Opus One 20I9 has intense aromas of black currant, blueberry, black plum, and dried rose petals, accentuated by mineral undertones. The creamy, satiny texture is framed by fine-grained tannins. The freshness and so glow of acidity create a subtle tension with dark fruit flavors, savory herbs, espresso, and cocoa. A delicate dark chocolate bitterness lingers on the finish.

This blend of 95% Tempranillo and 5% Albillo has been aged for 7 months in earthenware jars called "tinajas", just as it would have been over 100 years ago. It is bright, dark-hued purple-red with intense bluish notes. the nose is bold with outstanding red fruits. In the mouth it is elegant, fresh, and tasty with mineral notes combined with red and dark fruit. Round velvety tannins lead to a soft subtle finish.
