Blackened Whisky started as a collaboration between Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and Metallica, but when Dave passed away in 2018, Master Distiller Rob Dietrich joined the team in 2019 and now oversees the Blackened American Whiskey distilling process. A blend of hand-selected, well-aged North American bourbon & rye whiskeys, uniquely finished in black brandy casks and the earth-shattering music of Metallica. Each batch of whiskey is blasted with it's very own Metallica playlist, curated by the band themselves. Burnt caramel, oak and honey on the nose along with notes of cinnamon, allspice, dark fruit, clove and mint. The finish is long and smooth with a taste profile that is slightly creamy with hints of butterscotch, toffee and maple.

This pre-mixed cocktail expertly blends the smooth honeyed notes of grain and spice of Canadian Club whisky with the sweet, candied notes of ginger ale.

Matured for an initial 9 years in American White Oak ex-Bourbon casks. During the final 3 years the whiskey is transferred to 30 year old Gonzalez Byass Matusalem Oloroso Sherry butts.

This whiskey has been aged in fire-charred, new American white oak barrels. Aromas and flavours of spice, pepper, citrus, butterscotch and oak.

First produced in Maryland in the 1890s, Pikesville Rye, along with the rest of the once-booming Maryland Rye industry, was shuttered by Prohibition. The brand re-emerged after Prohibition and became the last standing Maryland Rye, as the rest of the industry's production had ceased. The taste is dry and spicy, with honeyed rye and cloves. A soft vanilla and baking spices as the finish.

Rich mahogany in colour with layers of heather honey, cinnamon, butterscotch and sticky raisins on the nose. Notes of mocha linger in the background lead into bursts of orange zest, heather honey and damson on the pallet. This is a blend of 70% Single Malt and 30% Single Pot Still whiskeys. Zesty spice aromas, with black pepper and peach notes. The pot still spice comes through on the palate, with dark chocolate and bourbon oak notes. The finish lingers pleasantly with hints of oak and butterscotch.
