Oyster Bay Sparkling Cuvée Brut is made from 100% Chardonnay grapes which give the wine elegance, finesse and minerality. We harvest the fruit early and use neutral yeasts to accentuate the Chardonnay varietal character. Cellar selection pinot noir has a concentrated black cherry and dark berry aromas which follow through to the palate where dark berry fruit and cherry flavours are supported by soft tannins. This is a ripe and deeply coloured food wine, designed for early drinking but capable of cellaring for 3-5 years. Serve with hearty pastas, duck and New Zealand lamb.

A fruit-driven style of Pinot Noir with a lively personality, this wine expresses an abundance of red cherries on the nose, along with baking spices such as clove and cinnamon. On the palate, fruit flavours of cranberries and fresh raspberries are intermingled with freshly roasted coffee beans and soft cocoa like-tannins.

COLOUR Medium red colour. AROMA Bright fruit aromas of fresh crushed berries, hints of spicy oak, and some forest floor notes. PALATE The palate is rich, with red berry flavours providing some nice fruit sweetness. Soft tannins ensure that the wine is approachable in its youth, however, it does have structure to enable the wine to develop over the years.

A clean and fresh style of Chardonnay uncluttered by oak. This wine is full-bodied and shows great length of flavour. Look for rich butterscotch, with hints of ripe stone fruits and citrus. An ideal accompaniment to seafood and white meat dishes.

Oyster Bay Marlborough Chardonnay truly captures the character of Marlborough with pure, incisive, ripe fruit flavours. A combination of barrel and tank fermentation and the stirring of lees on oak, achieves maximum softness and integration. To retain all the natural assertiveness and flavour, no malolactic fermentation takes place. Clonal influences in the vineyard have been very important, providing smaller berries and enhanced flavour intensity. The result of all of this is a delicious Oyster Bay Marlborough Chardonnay with concentrated aromas and flavours of ripe citrus and stonefruit, balanced with subtle oak, and a creamy texture to finish.
