Manitoba Liquor Mart carries a wide selection of organic wine, beer, and spirits. As no standard international definition exists at this time, products under this label have received an organic designation from the regulatory body in their countries of origin.
Organic beverage alcohol products are made from grapes and grains grown in accordance with the principles of organic farming, which generally excludes the use of artificial chemicals such as fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides and herbicides.
The term ‘organic’ is often used many different ways on bottle labels – you may see terms like:
- Made with Organic Grapes
- 100% Organic
- Organic
