This Cabernet-Bonarda has been selected for its juicy blackcurrant fruit supported by excellent structure that the Bonarda brings to any blend. The Bonarda grapes originate from Italy, but have been successfully transported to Argentina and are in fact used by several wineries in their red wine ranges. Together with the internationally renowned Cabernet Sauvignon, the resulting blend is bursting with ripe, vibrant character - expertly made by the dedicated team at La Riojana winery.
Best enjoyed with grilled rump steak, marinated lamb chops, pork chops, roast beef, casseroles and tomato based pasta dishes.
