Here is your shopping list for this event:

Featured Wines:

#30377 - Foriegn Affair Conspiracy Bianco ($19.99) - Kevin Kotyk (Brandon Victoria) made this selection.   I absolutely love the taste profile of this unique Niagara White wine. It’s got great fruit and acidity, and it has a wonderful texture for a white wine, as it has been made in the ripasso method.”

#439166 - Carmen Gran Reserva Carmenere ($18.99) -  Alex Essery (Corral Centre) made this selection.  This hidden gem is a great example of Chile’s leading red grape varietal. It presents with dark fruit, some fresh peppery notes that Carmenere is known for then finishes with well-rounded tannins and soft oak.

#3517 - Juan Gil Monastrell  ($24.99) - Cindy Rousseau (Brandon South) Made this selection.  This wine is perfect for the fall and winter months.  Rich and dense with a velvety texture a great long finish. Great for those wine drinkers that want something full bodied but unique.”

Food Suggestions:

  • - A cheese and meat platter would work very well, (either Gouda, Havarti, Cheddar, Manchego, with some prosciutto and salami. Including a Manchego is always a good idea

with Spanish wine.  A smoked cheese would be very interesting with any of these wines!

  • - This white was made for seafood – shrimp or scallops on the BBQ would be fantastic, finished with a squeeze of lemon.

  •

  • - Both of these reds will work well with BBQ beef or lamb, if heavier fare is more to your liking.
