Kathy began her career in beverage alcohol as a Product Consultant in Brandon, Manitoba, where she conducted a variety of education seminars for both the public and for the Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries staff.  After attaining the position of Product Ambassador, she moved to Winnipeg and has continued to further develop product knowledge seminars and training opportunities.  She has a passion for learning and has attained her Certified Specialist in Wine, WSET Level 3, and is a certified Sommelier. 

Falling in love with whisky at first sip, Forty Creek, North American Brand Ambassador Chris Thompson aspires to share the Forty Creek story (and great whisky!) with passionate fans everywhere.

Chris has been an active member of the Forty Creek team for many years and played a key role in creating the distillery’s on-site brand experience. Possessing a rich understanding about the brand’s product offerings he is always eager to share his passion for the Forty Creek portfolio.

Janelle began her career in the Liquor Marts as a part time customer service representative in 2007. At that time, she was not a big fan of anything that wasn’t a sweet refreshing cooler. My how things have changed! She developed a passion for wine, beer, and spirits and of course, mentoring others about beverage alcohol during her many years in the retail stores. Since joining the Product Ambassador team, Janelle has enjoyed developing product knowledge seminars and sharing her knowledge through her teaching. 

Aaron's passion for product knowledge was sparked by a chance encounter with the Spanish wine grape, Tempranillo.  He enjoys sharing his knowledge of Craft Beer and Spirits with the world (basically, anyone who will listen) and his enthusiasm for all things food and beverage has led him to the position of Product Ambassador.  Aaron is certified in Adult Education through the University of Manitoba and is looking forward to learning together at an upcoming course.

Patricia Anderson has been with Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries for over 15 years. During her time with Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries, she has held a few different roles and has enjoyed being a Product Ambassador for many years. Patricia has a passion for pairing drinks with food and exploring new and dynamic flavours.  

Carol is a Product Ambassador for Manitoba Liquor Mart. Her career began with Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries (formerly the MLCC) in 1987. Since 1994 Carol has facilitated many product knowledge, product appreciation, and social responsibility seminars for Manitoba Liquor & Lotteries employees and the general public. Carol holds two education certificates; one in Adult and Continuing Education (CACE), and as a Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) from the American Society of Wine Educators.

Gary is a Product Ambassador for Manitoba Liquor Mart. Since 1995, he has conducted product knowledge seminars promoting the responsible consumption of spirits, wine and beer. Gary has worked in wineries and vineyards, visited several breweries, and has attended several distillery training programs. In 2008 he earned the Certified Specialist in Spirits (CSS) designation through the Society of Wine Educators, and in 2014 completed his certification in Adult & Continuing Education (CACE).

Jamie has over fifteen years' experience in facilitating beverage alcohol courses and a passion for pairing wine with food. As an educator, his focus is to take the mystery out of food and wine pairing. Jamie has appeared many times on television discussing and demonstrating how to prepare and serve different alcoholic beverages. Serving a new, unique or even an old favourite with a new twist can make for a memorable experience. Jamie is continuing to upgrade his product knowledge through industry training. Jamie’s goal is to make spirits, wine and beer easy to understand and enjoy.
