This Nebbiolo grape based wine has been aged for 24 months in large oak casks. Note of small fruits, liquorice and tobacco are in beautiful balance with silky tannins.

Nevertheless, it is an attractive, representative Gattinara well-suited for drinking over the next few years. Anticipated maturity 2012-2018.

Yuri is the name of the local area of Honjo-shi and Masamune is an old term for Japanese sake. This sake is mellow and rustic and has a firm structure, its nutty and earthy notes are balanced by an underlying fruitiness.
