Each bottle of 1792 Ridgemont Reserve is handcrafted in small batches and aged 8 years in new charred oak barrels. The result is a distinctively smooth pour, equally worthy of rare occasions and everyday enjoyment.

The distinct character of the Aberfeldy 12 is the result of uniting the Highland's finest natural resources. Created with fresh spring water from the nearby Pitilie Burn, they are truly "Scotch" Scotches, as only Scottish Optic Barley is used. Colour: Full, gold yellow. An incredibly elegant and fruitful whisky that initially spent 18 years in a combination of refill casks and a finishing period of around 4-5 months in first-fill Pauillac wine casks. Offers Aberfeldy’s wonderfully soft signature honey and creamy vanilla notes invigorated with swathes of plush ripe fruits and lovely nutty aromas.

Nose: Honey, fruity. Thick malt, enlivened by a fresh, zesty quality. Palate: Smooth, vanilla, undulating, refined smoke. Finish: Peters out gently, perhaps some ripe white peach notes and a good wave of honey.

Good Sherried body with fruity aromas. Very soft and rounded with fruity notes.

Light gold colour, aromas of sweet orchard green apple, juicy sweet pears, delicate lavender honey, smooth vanilla cream and zesty sherbet lemon. On the palate an initial burst of citrus lemon zest and tangy grapefruit, then rich all-butter shortbread and soft baked apples which is followed by a hint of sweet sugared almonds. The finish is smooth and sweet with hint of toasted almonds.

Auburn gold colour. Aromas of mixed spices, praline, and spiced orange harmonizing with rich, deep notes of Oloroso Sherry. On the Palate orange, black cherries, dried fruit and ginger spiked with dark bitter chocolate and enriched with sherry and oak.

Light and zesty with a hint of spice, warming up to what can only be described as 'stick to your teeth' toffee. A long and lingering finish leaving you ready for the next sip.

Full-bodied and bold, aromatic spices, fruit loaf and candied lemon are followed by a surge of vanilla, honey and caramel. The finish transforms from peppery and hot to deliciously sweet and smooth.

Gold colour with amber hues. Notes of toasted nuts with smokey undertones, spices and ripe fruit. The finish is clean, smooth and long.

An explosion of crackling peat sets off millions of flavour explosions on the tongue: peat effervesces with tangy lemon and lime juice, black pepper pops with sizzling cinnamon-spiced toffee. This is followed by a wave of brine infused with smooth buttermilk, ripe bananas and currants. Smoke gradually wells up on the palate bringing a mouthful of warm creamy cappuccino and toasted marshmallows. As the taste lengthens and deepens, dry espresso, liquorice root and tarry smoke develop coating the palate with chewy peat oils.

Ardbeg An Oa is singularly rounded, due to time spent in their newly established bespoke oak gathering vat, where whiskies from several cask types, familiarize themselves with each other. The result is a dram with smoky power, mellowed by a delectable, smooth sweetness. Hallmark Ardbeg peat, dark chocolate and aniseed are wrapped in smooth, silky butterscotch, black pepper and clove, before rising to an intense crescendo of flavour.

A marriage of whisky aged in Sauternes wine casks together with classic Ardbeg aged in ex-bourbon casks. Smoked lemon peel, apricot and balsamic vinegar notes.

Created with roasted black malt. Notes of charcoal and sweet smoke make for an impactful aroma. Flavourful, with hints of aniseed and dark chocolate in the taste profile.

Maturation has occurred in double charred oak casks, Pedro Ximenez sherry casks and experimental BBQ casks. Notes of smoked ham, grilled artichokes, flamed steak and cinnamon dusted expresso.

Fresh, floral, herbal and tart aromas. Flavourful with hints of mixed herbs and cedar wood. Very zesty and vibrant with hints of smoked orange and grapefruit. The taste profile reveals a lively, vibrant, sharp texture leading into very firm, distinctive flavours, malty - biscuit, aniseed and cardamon. The finish is long and lingering with firm notes of mint, tar, oak and leather.

On the nose, sweet, scented wood, wisps of pine resin, aniseed toffee, citrus and cayenne pepper. Flavourful with notes of smoked brown sugar, sugar coated walnuts and gentle spices.

Full-flavoured and rich with a deep mouth-coating texture, the taste is an intriguing balance between sweet, spicy and deep smoky flavours. Initially sweet as Christmas cake begins to soak into the tongue. A burst of winter spices sets off a smoky-spicy explosion countered by a sumptuous mid-palate of honey glazed smoked food and chewy treacle.

The complex nose boasts fresh herbs, hints of vanilla, pear, fresh cracked black pepper, honey glazed ham, Turkish coffee and pine notes. It is rich on the palate with lots of chocolate, tar smoked back and eucalyptus. The finish is long with hints of cocoa, fudge and savoury meats.

Colour Burnished gold Nose At bottle strength the influence of the two styles of maturation casks complement each other producing a full-bodied smooth aroma. The maturity that shows through comes from the America barrels and the spicy creamy nose from the old style smaller casks. A touch of water allows the full complexity of the Highland Peated Malt to appear. The rich softness linked with smooth, slightly dry aroma is combined with just enough earthy peat smoke to avoid being overpowering. Palate At bottle strength the full rich flavours burst and fill the mouth with a creamy peat tang and a touch of vanilla’s soft gentleness. If a touch of water is added then the flavours increase with the addition of a sweet ripe fruit start followed by the tang of peat.

The palate is smooth and sweet with hints of tangerine and lime.

This deep amber whisky offers aromas of stewed plums with balsamic glaze, red berries and cooked nectarines, sweet and oily. A hint of maraschino cherry liqueur, rich toffee and caramel, rose petals, cinnamon and a hint of scented wood and tannic rioja. On the palate: Corinth raisins, prunes, caramelised figs, sweet Muscat grapes, rich dark chocolate with Seville oranges flavoured butterscotch and sweet sherry character. The finish is long lasting, sweet and intense with fragrant orange notes, chestnuts and sultanas.

This 21 year old single malt is triple distilled and aged in second fill sherry casks. To the nose: ripe gooseberry, citrus peel, sweet vanilla, oak and fresh cut barley notes. Light chocolate, soft green fruit, dried citrus peel and a twist of old oak and honey greet the palate. Beautifully balanced whisky.

Basil Hayden's is a singular bourbon that bridges the flavour of rye whiskies and small batch bourbons together. Basil Hayden's impresses with notes of pepper balanced by slight citrus overtones, and a spicy, warming finish. Aged eight years at a smooth 80-proof, this bourbon has a broad appeal and is equally enjoyable alone or in cocktails.

Toasted brown with amber hues. Notes of dried fruit, cherry, vanilla and toasted oak lead to sweet ambrosia and charred oak on the palate.

Basil Hayden toast is dark amber in colour with aromas and flavours of toasted oak that are complemented by dried fruit and caramelized sugar.

Blackened Whisky started as a collaboration between Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and Metallica, but when Dave passed away in 2018, Master Distiller Rob Dietrich joined the team in 2019 and now oversees the Blackened American Whiskey distilling process. A blend of hand-selected, well-aged North American bourbon & rye whiskeys, uniquely finished in black brandy casks and the earth-shattering music of Metallica. Each batch of whiskey is blasted with it's very own Metallica playlist, curated by the band themselves. Burnt caramel, oak and honey on the nose along with notes of cinnamon, allspice, dark fruit, clove and mint. The finish is long and smooth with a taste profile that is slightly creamy with hints of butterscotch, toffee and maple.

Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey uses a unique Solera System aging process to preserve some of the distillery’s oldest whiskey stocks. Aged in new charred American white oak barrels, this bourbon has a subtle aroma of fresh fruit and a taste that includes hints of dried apricot, ripe pear and a sweet roasted grain. The finish has notes of charred oak and warm winter spices.

This batch is made up of barrels from four production dates that were aged in four different warehouses. Amber in colour with aromas of oak, toasted nuts and vanilla. Balanced on the palate with a slight warmth.

Warm and delicious with subtle dark chocolate and peat smoke.

Wonderful cedar wood and rich treacle toffee.

Mellow mahogany in colour with classic Bowmore smokiness. Perfectly tempered with cream caramel, chocolate and ripe fruit aromas. The sip is beautifully soft with fruit and chocolate, balanced by a light smokiness. Savour the long and wonderfully balanced finish.

To the eye a burished chestnut colour. On the nose, notes of Freesia, dried geranium and lilies merge with the aromas of citrus fruits, followed by the sweeter notes of acacia honey, apple pie, vanilla pods and cream. The complex palate iniatially starts dry with floral notes, like carnations then developing into sweeter notes of lemon merigue, grilled almonds and light crème caramel fudge with a hint of pepper, nutmeg, oak and light coconut. The finish is long with subtle floral notes and malty flavours.

Deep copper colour with aromas of heather honey, vanilla, cherries, lychees, floral, hint of eucalyptus, oak spices, liquorice and fresh tobacco leaves with a touch of aniseed and mint. On the palate: malty spice, notes of vanilla fudge, golden syrup, butterscotch, thyme, white pepper, woody notes of dry oak, hazelnut, demerara sugar and maple syrup and dates. The finish is sweet and woody with notes of liquorice sticks deliver a spicy mouth feel and a touch of peat smoke.

Initial notes of lemon peel, poached peaches and vanilla giving way to indulgent tones of treacle, salted toffee, antique oak, roasted chestnuts and soft leather. Rich palate with hints of cocoa beans intermingled with sundried raisins, Muscovado sugar, red berries and an elegant layer of peat smoke. Long and sweet finish with lingering oak spices and sea salt.

Vanilla sweetness, cinnamon spice and oak smoke beautifully complement the mouth-watering citrus, honeycomb and coconut flakes, culminating in a peat smoked, bourbon vanilla and lime finish.

Auburn colour. On the nose, fruity cooked plums and prune jam. Corinth raisons and sultana notes with a strong Oloroso influence. Toffee and maple syrup, licorice, grilled orange peel and smoked seaweed. The taste profile reveals chestnus honey, strong bee's wax, fresh leather and cigar tobacco, roasted coffee beans and dark chocolate with a hint of oak tannins.

Aromas of sherry-soaked raisins, cocoa, orange marmalade, Christmas spices, cherry blossom, maraschino cherries and liquorice. On the palate warm pear, fruitcake, cocoa, and a sprinkling of sea salt.

Bright, gold colour. On the nose, the zest of sun - ripened fruits drizzled by the sea. On the palate, salted honeycomb with zingy spiced cocoa and the tang of blood orange.

A four-grain, high-rye straight bourbon whiskey aged for a minimum of 4 years in virgin American oak barrels. Notes of honeysuckle and citrus which are balanced by a bright, seamless acidity.

On the palate there is a noticeable delicacy and softness in texture and style. The balance of flavour is superb as the smoke wraps loosely around the sweetness drawn from deep within the oak, Coconut, vanilla custard, lemon honey combines with smoked oysters and sun baked salty sand. The finish is smoky but also the soft sweetness of fudge and malted barley, orange, mango and Banoffee pie hinting of the depth and quality of the oak. The many layers interchange on each sip.

With this edition of Black Art, inspiration was taken from the groundwork done in creating the first editions of this series, where there was a relentless pursuit to layer flavour.

Aged 29 years. Orange barley sugars, ginger nut biscuits and lemon meringue pie are followed by sweet apricot jam and marzipan. The toasted oak brings smooth chocolate and vanilla notes. Beautifully complemented with syrupy fruit, raisins, plum and melon. Over time, iodine and a hint of coconut come through, with a delicate oak spices of warming ginger and cinnamon. A velvet texture, the depth and balance of this single malt glides across the palate.

The oak cradles the soft fruit of distillation with a perfect balance and harmony. The delicate sweetness and luscious texture are like velvet on the palate. The balance of those sweet ripe stoned fruit flavours with the vanilla, caramel and brown sugar notes of the oak is perfect, this vintage of Islay barley is bottled at just the right moment to capture the DNA of our island and the whisky we distil on its shores. Add a touch of water and watch as the natural oils react in the glass releasing wonderful floral notes of hawthorn and heather.

This single malt is malted to a stratospheric 137.3 PPM and matured in the highest quality American oak casks. Initial aromas of sweet nutty smoke, barley sugar and ripe fruit lead way to syrupy apricot, ripe peat, malty vanilla, crème brulee, honey, tablet, coconut, almonds and charred oak. On the palate, dense smoked granola and honeyed lead to smoked apricot jam, barley four, peat embers, burnt heather, gooseberry citrus and sweet Turkish delight. Oak chips, sugared almonds and chocolate limes come toward the finish.
