On the nose, a complex of aromas including anise, cut grass, white flowers and lime citrus mingle seamlessly. The Reserve Merlot opens with an intense, deep nose filled with aromas of plum, blackberry, anise and mocha. The palate is lush and rich revealing similar flavours along with subtle hints of dried tobacco, sage and earth. The fine grained, dusty tannins support the rich fruit, and the finish is filled with notes of espresso, cocoa and licorice. The Reserve Merlot has been aged in American and French oak for 12 months.

This whisky has a light ruby red colour, with a complexity of sweet dried fruits, underlying peppery spice and subtle toffee notes on the nose. The body is full and robust with a well-balanced blend of sweet port, dried fruits, vanilla, toffee, and lingering rye spices.
