This Saint-Julien blend is comprised of 80% Cabernet Sauvignon, 18% Merlot, and 2% Petit Verdot. Barrel matured for 21 months, 50% of the barrels were new oak. The character of our unique terroir and our technical team’s expertise have allowed this vintage to surpass itself. It boasts both phenolic richness and freshness in the fruit. This is a powerful, creamy, smooth wine. The expressive, aromatic nose opens with black cherry, blackcurrant and liquorice. In the palate, the entry is silky and plump with powerful, velvety tannins. This 2020 is a vintage of contrasts, characterized by the estate's smallest harvest in 30 years. So much freshness in the hottest vintage in modern history demonstrates the buffering power of our terroir. The precision of the fruit is revealed with notes of morello cherry, blackcurrant and licorice. The taut tannic structure recalls the greatness of the 2010, with a more unctuous, more amiable mid-palate. This Pauillac blend is comprised of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 24% Merlot, 3% Cabernet franc, and 3% Petit Verdot. Aging has taken place in French oak barrels for 18 months (75% new wood). The wine offers a characteristic nose combining fresh fruity and spicy aromas with fine oaky notes. The attack is supple, rich and aromatic. On the palate it is velvety and perfectly balanced, with dense tannins, powerful structure, freshness and beautiful length.

The 2020 is a highly concentrated vintage. Notes of licorice, grippy and charismatic cassis and blueberry fruit with a velvety texture layered with blackcurrant pastilles and rich dark chocolate.

This Pauillac blend is comprised of 90% Cabernet Sauvignon, 9% Merlot, and 1% Petit Verdot. This wine is an intense garnet red with a purplish hue. Fresh, highly expressive and precise on the nose, it reveals blackberry, black cherry and liquorice aromas with a slightly mineral cast. It is smooth and opulent on the palate, with an attractive sweetness, enfolding superbly patrician, rounded and powerful tannins. Beautifully rich overall, it culminates in a stylish, succulent and very harmonious finish.

The 2020 colour is a deep, dark cherry red with garnet highlights. The fine, complex nose reveals remarkably mature black fruit aromas. On airing, the wine exhales scents of blackcurrant and anise, combined with notes of graphite and a subtle hint of light tobacco. On the palate, the attack is both suave and fleshy, revealing very precise tannins that accompany a powerful build-up of flavours, in a harmonious, succulent balance with mint, mineral and smoky nuances. The full, exceptionally long finish expresses all the nobility of Mouton's Cabernet Sauvignon.

This Saint Estephe blend is comprised of 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 42% Merlot, and 2% Cabernet Franc. The colour is a deep red with purple reflections. On the nose, aromas of ripe fruit (black cherry, blackcurrant, blackberry) are made more complex by toasty and liquorice notes. On the palate, the impressive attack leads on to fleshy and crunchy fruit. This harmonious blend is kept taut by nice freshness at the end of the palate and great aromatic length.

There is a fascinating balance in the Phélan Ségur 2020. Its expressive, remarkably open nose is an invitation to plunge into a "multicolored, polyphonic" universe of fruit and flowers. Chiselled structure, subtly fleshy, dense with finely woven tannins.

This new vintage of our Purple Angel has all of the character and complexity we are accustomed to. With an intense and deep carmine-red colour, the wine delivers a pool of fresh fruit aromas, such as blackberry, blueberry, red plum, and ripe cherry. There are also bakery, candied, and subtle spice notes that mix well with the aromas from the French oak, including balanced toast, vanilla, and mocha. The palate is balanced and vibrant, with complex body and extremely smooth tannins.

Opaque, purple black colour with a narrow violet rim. Characteristically stylish and racy, with a nose of dense blackcurrant and woodland fruit overlaid with discreet herbal nuances and scents of violet and rose petals. As usual the classic Taylor elegance and understatement conceal the wine’s energy and vigour. On the palate it displays the lean, sinewy and tightly knit tannins which are so much a feature of the Taylor style and the vibrant and clearly delineated fruit flavours and which are the hallmark of the 2007 vintage.
