This cuvée made with about 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc is a blend of different lots reflecting the diversity of all local terroirs: the clay bringing the body, the gravel giving the structure and the chalk ensuring the finesse. The current blend is mainly the 2010 vintage ; the exceptional climatic conditions of this vintage are expressed when tasting the wine which shows a deep intense color, some scents of black fruits (mulberries, cherries) greatly backed up by a lovely integrated tanic structure, this enhancing a long and complex final.

If Bierzo’s identity lies on the Atlantic influence, the ocean foam at the breaking of waves has bathed with iodine and an excellent fragrance the fruits of wet forests in 2010. Morello cherries, blueberries, strawberries and small wild pears. Sweet, acid and juicy, we can also find traces of exotic coasts: papaya, dragon fruit and lychees. All flavours reach their climax in a voluptuous and lively way, a liquid sustained by the vegetal fibre of complete maturity and fineness given during its wood rest.

Varietal Composition is 58% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 14% Malbec, 7% Petite Verdot, and 6% Zinfandel. Voluptuous dark fruit aromas of blackberry and black cherry, with hints of lavender and rustic savory spice. The rich berry notes are echoed on the palate, where silky, fine-grained tannins and enlivening acidity carry the flavors to a lush, lingering finish.

It is a wine of dark violet colour with reddish tones. In the nose it presents intense flavours of blackberry with notes of red and black currants, and plum. The mouth highlights notes of ripe plums with soft and elegant tannins. It has an excellent structure, long and persistent finish. It goes well with red meats, sauces, cheeses and pastas.

It shows berry fruit and spice notes. The mid palate gives way to flavours of raspberry, blackcurrant, mineral and toasty notes. It has a long finish with fine tannins and hints of mocha. This is a very elegant wine in style with good intensity and a nice pleasant finish.

Harvest occurs early in the morning and the fruit is then immediately pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel cuves. A low temperature is kept while the wine is raised on fine lees in the cuve for eleven months and then bottled in September. The honey & white acacia blossom perfume is a rare treat. Youthful deliciousness.

This Malbec channels the more elegant side of life; due to the high altitude climate, one would expect a wine with more intensity, but his one is subtle with flavours of strawberry and cherry. Impressively refined and still supported by firm tannins.

Intense violet colour. Aromas of black fruits, violets, spices with some mineral and graphite notes. Fresh tasting with excellent balance. This wine possesses soft tannins and has a persistent finish.

Aged a total of 24 months. The nose offers an explosion of dark fruit with decadent aromas of raspberry-filled chocolates, black currant, mulberry and huckleberry jam, as well as more savory notes of cedar and spice. On the palate, firm tannins underscore this wine’s opulence and ageability, framing the blackberry, fig and black currant flavors, with bright underlying acidity providing poise and finesse to the long, layered finish.

The varietal composition for this vintage is 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. It has been aged a total of 24 months in barrel. Enticing aromas of black cherry, red currant and rose petals mingle with sophisticated hints of hazelnut, clove, caramel and fig preserves. A silky palate with juicy layers of plum, tayberry and chocolate-covered blueberries are framed by elegantly structured tannins, with notes of red licorice, mint, maple and sage adding complexity to a long, dynamic finish.

Dark intense ruby red colour. Intense nose of blueberries and blackcurrants with a hint of cigar box. This vintage is medium-bodied with integrated soft tannins showing the full array of forest fruit.

The palate is firm but very silky, with elegant, well-structured tannins, great volume and a persistent finish. Ideal served with grilled or roasted red or white meats, pork tenderloin with red wine reduction and spices, and beef fillet with black pepper.

Deep cherry-red in colour with intense aromas of red fruits such as cassis and raspberries with a spicy touch of black pepper and rosemary, a light floral note of violet, and a bit of vanilla. The palate is elegant and full of character with firm yet soft and silky tannins and a fruity finish that recalls fresh black plums. Big-bodied red wines like this one, should be accompanied by full flavoured dishes such as: Wagyu Rib-eye with potatoes au gratin, Baby Goat Ribs roasted in an adobe oven or Spit-Roasted Lamb.

Deep ruby red in colour, the nose displays intense and fresh aromas of red and black fruits accompanied by lightly spicy notes such as black pepper as well as dill and a hint of mint.

Intense red ruby colour and purple highlights. Spicy, with notes of black pepper, paprika, black and red ripe fruit, fringed by rosemary, dill, clove, and cinnamon. Roasted red pepper, figs and a hint of blackberries.

Brilliant light yellow in colour, Aconcagua Costa Chardonnay offers various layers of aromas recalling fresh citrus notes followed by passion fruit, guava and grapefruit intermingled with subtle aromas of honey and white flowers. The fruitiness reappears on the palate along with good acidity that lends tremendous freshness. The vertical and linear palate stands out for its minerality, elegance, character and long ageing potential.

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes come from vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley. Aging occurred in French Oak barrels for 12 months. Claret red colour with ruby shimmers. The nose has notes of strawberries, cherries and some blueberries, accompanied by a soft tone reminiscent of mint, cloves, hints of rosemary and pastries. The palate is predominated by red fruits and bitter chocolate.

The Carmenere grapes come from vineyards in the Aconcagua Valley. Aging occurred in French Oak barrels for 12 months. Deep violet in colour with aromas of black and red fruits, herbs, roasted red bell pepper, rosemary and dill which are all framed by soft notes of chocolate and roasted coffee beans. On the palate are notes of nuts, dark cherries and coffee.

Full bodied with smooth, concentrated flavours of ripe fruit including cherries and plums. Notes of dark chocolate in the finish.

Brouilly, the most southerly of the Beaujolais "Crus". This ruby - coloured wine has a very fresh and fruity smell with hints of blueberry, blackberry and plum. A pleasant and joyous wine that can be drunk young though it ages well.

Spice box, pepper, violets, mineral, black cherry and plum aromas are followed by a ripe, plush, pleasure-bent red that has enough structure to evolve for 1-2 years.

A medium intensity ruby coloured wine, characterised by the primary aromas of the grapes from which it is made, such as plum and black cherry, with some balsamic notes. On the palate it is a wine of great elegance and smoothness, with good fresh acidity, smooth and rounded tannins and a medium intensity palate aroma in which fruit prevails. The result is a remarkably balanced whole, with a clean finish of medium persistence.

Burgundy in colour, this wine has a fine aroma of black berries and rose petals. There is a hint of raspberry in the flavour. Decanting this wine brings out the characteristic silky texture of Pinot Noir. Served slightly cool, this is excellent with salmon as well as red meats and cheese.
