Basil Hayden toast is dark amber in colour with aromas and flavours of toasted oak that are complemented by dried fruit and caramelized sugar.

This expression was created from a mash that by law had to be no lower than 51% rye; following distillation it was aged in new charred oak barrels for 10 years. The result is aromas of sweet vanilla, oak and a touch of light fruit are followed by the taste is of spice, oak, hints of caramel, tobacco and warm cinnamon.

Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey uses a unique Solera System aging process to preserve some of the distillery’s oldest whiskey stocks. On the nose, you find gentle spice with ripe banana aromas. Mid palate is smooth with notes of banana, oak, and spice. Finish is medium bodied with great structure and balance.

Created as a small batch, Larceny is sourced from at least 200 barrels which allows the master distiller to choose only those barrels that have achieved the ideal taste profile and reached peak maturity. Old Forester 1870 Original Batch was the first expression in the Old Forester Whiskey row series. Barrels have been selected from 3 warehouses, with each barrel originating from a different day of production. These barrels are batched together to craft this expression. On the aroma, clove notes lead way to citrus fruits and honeysuckle. On the palate: baking spices (clove, cinnamon and nutmeg), citrus fruit mix with a shortbread sweetness. Long finish.

It's hot and spicy, but water quells it without losing the spice explosion, red berry notes, and roasted rye. Our bourbon has a rye content of 21%, giving it a light but distinct hint of spice. Additional aromas and flavours include: caramel, spice, over-ripe banana and cracked black pepper.

In our pursuit of an authentically American single malt whiskey, we bring our signature five-malt barley bill together with new American oak casks. This combination produces a dramatically different whiskey from what is now commonplace and expected in the single malt category. But just as traditional styles of single malt from Scotland emerged as a reflection of regions such as Islay and Speyside, so too does our American Oak stay true to the provenance of our Pacific Northwest home.

This bourbon is a clear, bright-copper colour; medium intensity with aromas of banana bread, toffee, vanilla, ginger and baking spices; full and warming on the palate, with flavours of banana, vanilla, caramel and ripe tropical fruits; warm spiciness leads to a long finish.

Maturation in our handcrafted white oak barrels, the second barrel deeply toasted before a light charring, creates Woodford Reserve Double Oaked - a smooth, full-bodied mix of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, fruit and spices; a long and creamy finish with lingering hints of honeyed apple.

Five sources of flavour have been customized for this craft bourbon. The first includes mineral rich iron-free water. The second ingredient is a unique grain recipe including corn, malted barley and rye which gives it its feisty spice character. The third is our unique cypress fermenters, the fourth is we distill in our customized copper pot stills, and lastly we mature in our own white oak barrels.
