Antigal Uno Cabernet is hand harvested from heavily pruned vines in the Uco Valley of Argentina. The gravity fed technology allows for gentle handling protecting the fruits true varietal flavour and well balanced acidity. This wine is a beautiful ruby red with flashes of black. Cherry dominate flavours are underscored with white pepper, tobacco and cocoa. Tannins are robust and rounded allowing a long finish.

This Pinot Grigio is pure sunlight in a glass. The fresh bouquet of peach, white flowers and hints of honey lead into a refreshing palate of apple laced with mineral and spice.

This wine has a light straw colour in the glass with moderate viscosity. The nose shows notes of mango, peaches in syrup and pineapple. The palate is medium sweet but not cloying with flavours of ripe pear, golden delicious apple, peach and pineapple.

Rich - tasting with ripe plum and berry flavours. Well - balanced wine with slight notes of cocoa in the finish.

On the nose, a complex of aromas including anise, cut grass, white flowers and lime citrus mingle seamlessly. Dry and full bodied, the palate is very intense and well extracted, with great tension between acidity and richness on the attack and in the middle. Crisp yellow plum, Granny Smith apple and green melon flavours are present throughout, and carry on to the finish alongside mouth-watering acidity and crushed-stone minerality.

Scents of white flowers and white peach predominate, with yellow grapefruit and Honeydew melon in the background. Off-dry and medium-bodied, the palate offers juicy pink grapefruit up front, followed by a broad, concentrated middle palate of yellow plum and Mutsu apples.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot work together to create a wine that exhibits plush fruit supported by deep tannins. We make this wine to cellar for a number of years. A youthful wine will therefore exhibit well structured tannins that demands a complimenting food while a wine with greater than 4 years of age will begin to deliver nuances of flavour, texture and length that can only be achieved by making the wine in this traditional style.

Careful oak cask ageing gives the wine an ultimate dimension that turns it into an irresistible one. This is a characteristic Malbec varietal, a full body wine, with a complex structure, with surprising notes of red berries eucalyptus spice and black pepper. After a year in the bottle, it becomes more unctuous in character, intense and concentrated.

The wine shows a pale yellow hue, with greenish reflections. The bouquet shows off all the varietal characteristics: citrus at the start and then nuances of pineapple, mango and passion fruit. It is dry, sweet and round in the mouth, with balanced acidity and a long finish.

This is a blend of Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes from our oldest vineyards dating from the 1969 and 1937 respectively. The nose highlights the fruity character with notes of fresh cherries and walnut, in harmony with notes of soft smoked by the French oak barrel during the ageing period. Ice-wine & Brandy is half as sweet as traditional Ice-wine, this dessert wine is a delicate blend of Vidal Ice-wine & seven year, barrel aged brandy. It is smooth on the palate with intense tropical fruit notes of the Ice-wine, complemented by warmth of the brandy in the finish.

This unoaked chardonnay is aged completely in stainless steel tanks. Light and fresh. Crisp notes of green apple, peach and citrus are found on the nose, with a lively acidity on the palate.

Ripe and flashy, with a showy layer of mocha leading the way for spice cake, raspberry and boysenberry fruit flavours laid over a lush, creamy finish. Dense but light, with the fruit echoing through the finish.

This is a big wine, bursting with red fruit aromas reminiscent of plums and blackberries. It has spent over a year aging in oak barrels, which add vanilla, chocolate and tobacco aromas as well as complexity to the bouquet. A good steak, roast meats such as lamb, pork or beef, lasagna, spaghetti bolognese and mild cheeses.

This Cabernet-Bonarda has been selected for its juicy blackcurrant fruit supported by excellent structure that the Bonarda brings to any blend. The Bonarda grapes originate from Italy, but have been successfully transported to Argentina and are in fact used by several wineries in their red wine ranges. Together with the internationally renowned Cabernet Sauvignon, the resulting blend is bursting with ripe, vibrant character - expertly made by the dedicated team at La Riojana winery. Best enjoyed with grilled rump steak, marinated lamb chops, pork chops, roast beef, casseroles and tomato based pasta dishes.
