Naturally fermented and twice distilled in wood-fired copper stills. Nose of tropical fruit, honey, & roast agave; palate offers ginger, cinnamon, & tangerine, with a soft finish.

It is a wine of dark violet colour with reddish tones. In the nose it presents intense flavours of blackberry with notes of red and black currants, and plum. The mouth highlights notes of ripe plums with soft and elegant tannins. It has an excellent structure, long and persistent finish. It goes well with red meats, sauces, cheeses and pastas.

It shows berry fruit and spice notes. The mid palate gives way to flavours of raspberry, blackcurrant, mineral and toasty notes. It has a long finish with fine tannins and hints of mocha. This is a very elegant wine in style with good intensity and a nice pleasant finish.

Don Julio 1942 Anejo Tequila is handcrafted in tribute to the year that Don Julio Gonzalez began his tequila-making journey. This Malbec channels the more elegant side of life; due to the high altitude climate, one would expect a wine with more intensity, but his one is subtle with flavours of strawberry and cherry. Impressively refined and still supported by firm tannins.
