Caymus has a signature style that is dark in colour, with rich fruit and ripe, velvety tannins as approachable in youth as in maturity. We farm Cabernet grapes in eight of Napa’s 16 sub-appellations, with diversification enabling us to make the best possible wine in a given year. Our Cabernet offers layered, lush aromas and flavours, including cocoa, cassis and ripe dark berries.

These vintage features both richness and freshness coming together in an intriguing way. Fruit is luscious and the integrated wood compliments rather than defines the wine. Aroma of cassis and blackberries. The palate starts off sleek then expands with luxurious tannins. Fruit driven wine with an overlay of French oak in the finish.

This blending of Caymus Cabernets captures soft, beautiful valley fruit with mountain wines providing "shoulders". Extended barrel aging period of 36 months. Rich ruby colour with aromas of blackberry, currant, black licorice and anise. On the palate, brown spice, dark fruits and wisps of cigar box.

The Walking Fool is a lush, Zinfandel based blend. A silky scarlet red with luminous highlights, this wine opens with a lean earthiness the scent of rustic wood mixes with sweet spice, a whiff of cigar box, dusty pavement and old leather, infused with garden ripe strawberries and cherries. The palate is smooth and lively, featuring flavours of juicy raspberry, the subtle tartness of cranberry, and notes of espresso and smoked meat. Underlying acidity makes this wine mouth-watering, while its tannins lend a gritty yet softly fine texture. On the finish: a trace of vibrant cranberry, luxurious cocoa and an extra kick of spice.

Suisun (su-soon) Valley is known for delicious stone fruits and walnuts; increasingly it is also gaining recognition for its wine. Durif is synonymous with Petite Sirah, the widely grown grape in the region. We added Grand to the name of our Suisun-grown Durif because it has a grand style. The 2016 vintage shows aromas of dark plums,  baked blueberries, scents of lavender, white rose petals, sweet smoke and brown spice.  On the palate, lush tannins in balance with dark berry cobbler and cocoa.

Regal red in colour. Plush and evocative on the nose with aromas of beef - ribs cooked over an open fire with notes of potpourri and dark plum. This wine is a striking combination, highly structured yet featuring extravagant flavours of dark fruit.

The warmth of vanilla and brown spice aromas in this classic Sonoma County Chardonnay are lightened with notes of creamy lemon and sweet pear. A palate of soft fruit, including apple and pineapple flavours and notes of toasted hazelnut, finish with a bright acidity, taking the rich mouthfeel to a long, satisfying finish.

Aromatic with black cherry and violet notes along with a mild spice character. A well-balanced wine with hints of red cherries, raspberries and strawberries with a touch of vanilla and leather.

Opaque purple core with bright reddish purple rim. Syrupy nose, with lots of vanilla, and ripe dark fruit, and some cedar coming in from behind. After a while, I noted some nutmeg aroma. This wine was medium bodied, dry, with supple tannins and silky smooth mouth feel. Dark plum, ripe dark fruit and chocolate with a slightly puckering finish. Medium plus length.

Lush flavours of plum, chocolate and clove mingle with hints of dark berries. Pair this with baked brie, pork belly, ox tail stew, or osso buco.

On the nose are aromas of the intense freshness of mature fruit as well as a slight touch of chilli, particular to the Curico Valley region. Deep red. Unctuous cherry, cassis, cedar, blackberry, black tar and smoke-led presence. Tight and focused with a deep concentration of flavours framed by firm tannins. A smooth, almost silky texture masks the firm tannic structure beneath, which really comes to the fore at the beginning of the long finish.

A blend of two varieties from the Rapel Valley in Chile. Notes of dark plums, with firm and round tannins, velvety texture, smooth, well balanced and mouth filling wine.

Dark and deep red with violet nuances. Very elegant, complex, great character of pure Carmenere, plumy, red ripe fruit, spicy and black cherries. Great structure, mouth filling, mineral, sweet tannins, graphite, powerful as delicate, with lots of fruit giving a long finish.

Intense red cherry colour with aromas of mocha, black cherry, blackberry, currant and cedar. On the palate there are flavours of rainier cherry, currant and subtle notes of anise.

A bright and refreshing Pinot Grigio. Pale yellow colour. Floral nose with white fruit such as white peach and pear. On the palate, citrus and apple notes leading to a mouth - watering finish.

This is a delicious and velvety Carmenere that is characteristic of its variety. Red fruit aromas of strawberries and raspberries combine with spicy notes. Juicy and fruity with a nicely balanced acidity.

Rich fruit notes of cherry, raspberry, plum and strawberry which are enhanced by subtle smoked hints. In mouth sweet fruit notes stand out, and its fine tannins give it a great texture and a mouth filling structure. Balanced and New World styled, this is a wine of personality and elegance.

An elegant rose wood colouring, this Pinot Rose is a brilliant pink with blue-violet hues. Elegant and intense, the nose displays aromas of red fruits such as cherries, strawberries, raspberries and sour cherries. The soft and juicy palate demonstrates great acidity and balance and makes this a refreshing and fine wine.

Malbec, Merlot, Carmenere, Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon make up this red blend. A beautiful ruby red colour, an intense nose displaying red fruits such as plum and raspberry with notes of cacao, tobacco and mocha. Full on the palate with silky, balanced and juicy tannins, it is a wine with great volume and a long finish.

This Sauvignon Blanc has a bright and clean greenish-yellow colouring. The nose displays great aromatic intensity with notes of citrus, white flowers and pineapple. A balanced mouth with good concentration, acidity and persistence. Excellent for serving with seafood, salads, chicken, cheeses and vegetarian dishes.

This Viognier is a bright golden yellow with fruity notes of apricots and peaches that combine with nice citrus notes and a final touch of light oak in the nose. The palate is concentrated and full of fresh stone fruit flavours that make this a savoury wine with great character and persistence.

This Cabernet Sauvignon Carmenere is made from grapes grown organically. This reddish purple wine from Colchagua Valley offers an expressive and very fruity to the nose, with notes of plums, berries, and dry fruits. In the mouth, this juicy blend is a delightful concentration of red and black fruits, which are in complete harmony with soft tannins. A wine of integrated character, that culminates in a chocolate finish with underlying woody and toasty hints.

This Chardonnay is made from grapes grown organically. It’s engaging in its yellow colour with golden hues. Its refreshing nose is very citric, with fruity aromas mingling with some light mineral notes. The taste is seductively complex, very fresh, with a well balanced acidity.

Deep ruby red colour with aromas of raspberry, cassis and plum and well incorporated notes of oak. On the palate elegant tannins and good persistence, balanced acidity. Cellaring potential of 5 years.

This Pinot Noir is made from grapes grown organically. It is appealing in its rich and deep bright red colour, and has a complex and developed nose that is governed by sweet wild fruit aromas, where notes of cherries and berries are enhanced by slight toasty hints. This Pinot definitely has a personality of its own. It’s tasteful, with soft tannins and an excellent structure.

This Sauvignon Blanc is made from grapes grown organically. Young and fresh, bright pale yellow colour with green hints. Its nose is mineral and citric, with herbal hints and notes of white flowers and melon, which anticipate a balanced and chilling mouth that culminate in a long mineral finish.

This sparkling wine is made with Chadonnay and Pinot Noir grapes. A bright, fresh sparkling wine with citric aromas and hints of green apples and white flowers. Juicy and crisp with mineral notes.

The dark, rich core of the 2015 Continuum has aromas of cacao, black currant, cardamom and savoury wild herb. On the palate it is layered and supple, revealing black cherry and roast espresso notes intertwined with mountain minerals and a hint of tangy orange spice. The wine is lush with ripe chocolatey tannins that lead to a long, expressive finish. 2015, though small in volume, is a mighty vintage for Continuum; one to savour today or age and appreciate for decades to come.

Conundrum Red Blend has a nose that is almost floral, with tones of lavender, dried berries, baking chocolate, bacon bits. Aromas are rich, velvety and wonderfully appealing. Silky round entry with acid to balance and high fruit concentration. The nose leaves no doubt about the seriousness of this wine. The palate is fruit driven both before and after the high tannin middle core. The finish is long, not drying of tannin, and beckons a second sip.

Explore this puzzling wine as rich aromas of honeysuckle escape from the glass, followed by hints of peach, vanilla and citrus notes. On the palate, lush tropical flavours of melon, pineapple and pear are matched with crisp lemon zest and hints of grapefruit. The complexity of this wine is brought into balance by a rich, round mouthfeel supported by fresh acidity, creating a stunning, satisfying finish.

Intense, dark ruby red color. An exquisite aroma displaying classic notes of forest fruit, blackberries, and hints of leather. Wonderfully elegant on the palate, with soft tannins and a lingering finish of fruit and spices that concludes on a toasted bread note.

Black Forest is a dark, decadent red blend from Cupcake Vineyards. Rich flavours of blackberry and dark cherry with hints of mocha and spice, this wine has a silky, luxurious finish.

Our full and elegantly textured Chardonnay has decadent levels of butter, cream, bright citrus and vanilla. These layers melt into a balance of oak and subtle spice.
