Comte de Grasse has created an entirely new style of vodka-rosé using an 'innovative' flavour extraction technique. A new process, called active wine extraction (AWX), combines the flavours of rosé wine with vodka. The nose is all elegant and concentrated freshness with light wafts of strawberries. The palate is a discovery of delicate floral notes with white peaches and a soft fruity finish. Natural flavour extraction with no additives or artificial flavours.

This Saint-Julien blend is comprised of 63% Merlot and 37% Cabernet Sauvignon. Maturation has occurred for 15 months, 15% were new oak barrels. Bouquet includes; red berry fruit, cinnamon and touches of brown spice. The palate is fruity and well-balanced, tannins are well structured.

The dark, rich core of the 2015 Continuum has aromas of cacao, black currant, cardamom and savoury wild herb. The wine is lush with ripe chocolatey tannins that lead to a long, expressive finish. 2015, though small in volume, is a mighty vintage for Continuum; one to savour today or age and appreciate for decades to come.

Conundrum Red Blend has a nose that is almost floral, with tones of lavender, dried berries, baking chocolate, bacon bits. Aromas are rich, velvety and wonderfully appealing. Silky round entry with acid to balance and high fruit concentration. The nose leaves no doubt about the seriousness of this wine. The palate is fruit driven both before and after the high tannin middle core. The finish is long, not drying of tannin, and beckons a second sip.

Avant Garde is a limited edition series. The combination of aging the cognac first in French oak, then deep char bourbon casks gives a warming aromatic expression of vanilla crème, sweet marmalade and caramel, followed by flavours of subtle and smoky leather and sweet orange.

Our full and elegantly textured Chardonnay has decadent levels of butter, cream, bright citrus and vanilla. These layers melt into a balance of oak and subtle spice.

This cuvée made with about 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc is a blend of different lots reflecting the diversity of all local terroirs: the clay bringing the body, the gravel giving the structure and the chalk ensuring the finesse. The current blend is mainly the 2010 vintage ; the exceptional climatic conditions of this vintage are expressed when tasting the wine which shows a deep intense color, some scents of black fruits (mulberries, cherries) greatly backed up by a lovely integrated tanic structure, this enhancing a long and complex final.

Dark ruby colour. Aroma of dark cherries and raspberries with nuances of licorice. The palate unfolds with layers of chocolate - covered dark red cherries and a delicate hint of wild sage. A long, lingering finish instills a lasting impression of rich, concentrated flavours.

On the nose, the bouquet spirals through sweet, bright floral notes and the lively minerality so typical of Dom Pérignon, then notes of candied fruit, plants, the incredible freshness of camphor leaf and finally the dark hints of spices and liquorice root. On the palate, the wine is currently still physical. It is compelling, tactile and vibrant rather than aromatic. The rhythm and tempo are more dominant than the melody. At first mild and delicate, then strongly, confidently mineral, persistent, precise, with a refined bitterness, and an iodine, saline tang.

Harvest occurs early in the morning and the fruit is then immediately pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel cuves. A low temperature is kept while the wine is raised on fine lees in the cuve for eleven months and then bottled in September. The honey & white acacia blossom perfume is a rare treat. Youthful deliciousness.

The nose offers an explosion of dark fruit with decadent aromas of raspberry-filled chocolates, black currant, mulberry and huckleberry jam, as well as more savory notes of cedar and spice. On the palate, firm tannins underscore this wine’s opulence and ageability, framing the blackberry, fig and black currant flavors, with bright underlying acidity providing poise and finesse to the long, layered finish.

The varietal composition for this vintage is 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. It has been aged a total of 24 months in barrel. Enticing aromas of black cherry, red currant and rose petals mingle with sophisticated hints of hazelnut, clove, caramel and fig preserves. A silky palate with juicy layers of plum, tayberry and chocolate-covered blueberries are framed by elegantly structured tannins, with notes of red licorice, mint, maple and sage adding complexity to a long, dynamic finish.
