The merging of flavours, viscosity and a lively acidity round out the long, sinuous finish.

When asked to describe this wine, I simply say it’s like a taste of Christmas, all year long.

A potent mix of berry pie flavours that are lively, complex and well-oaked.

Beautiful golden hue in color with mouth-watering aromas of pie crust, lightly toasted marshmallow, banana cream pie, and hints of granny smith apple. On the palate is large, luscious tones of melon, bright apple and hints of buttery brioche.

Aromas of ripe blueberry, blackberry, maple and nutmeg. Notes of currants, sassafras, and bright red fruits emerge from a dense core of fruit, accented by juicy acidity and a pretty finish.

Blended with smaller amounts of Merlot, Petit Verdot, Zinfandel and other varieties, this wine is lightly spiced and in balance, despite its powerful approach to ripeness. This blending of Caymus Cabernets captures soft, beautiful valley fruit with mountain wines providing "shoulders". Extended barrel aging period of 36 months. The Walking Fool is a lush, Zinfandel based blend. A silky scarlet red with luminous highlights, this wine opens with a lean earthiness the scent of rustic wood mixes with sweet spice, a whiff of cigar box, dusty pavement and old leather, infused with garden ripe strawberries and cherries. The palate is smooth and lively, featuring flavours of juicy raspberry, the subtle tartness of cranberry, and notes of espresso and smoked meat. Underlying acidity makes this wine mouth-watering, while its tannins lend a gritty yet softly fine texture. On the finish: a trace of vibrant cranberry, luxurious cocoa and an extra kick of spice.

Suisun (su-soon) Valley is known for delicious stone fruits and walnuts; increasingly it is also gaining recognition for its wine. Durif is synonymous with Petite Sirah, the widely grown grape in the region. We added Grand to the name of our Suisun-grown Durif because it has a grand style. The 2016 vintage shows aromas of dark plums,  baked blueberries, scents of lavender, white rose petals, sweet smoke and brown spice.  On the palate, lush tannins in balance with dark berry cobbler and cocoa.

Vibrant velvety purple with initial scents of supple leather and earthy wood, and additional aromatic layers of ripe blackberries, rose petals and a hint of clove. Flavours of berry cobbler mingle with leather, a wisp of campfire, flowers in bloom and chocolate covered raisins. Delicate luxury.

Regal red in colour. Plush and evocative on the nose with aromas of beef - ribs cooked over an open fire with notes of potpourri and dark plum. This wine is a striking combination, highly structured yet featuring extravagant flavours of dark fruit.

Opaque purple core with bright reddish purple rim. Syrupy nose, with lots of vanilla, and ripe dark fruit, and some cedar coming in from behind. After a while, I noted some nutmeg aroma. This wine was medium bodied, dry, with supple tannins and silky smooth mouth feel. Dark plum, ripe dark fruit and chocolate with a slightly puckering finish. Medium plus length.

The dark, rich core of the 2015 Continuum has aromas of cacao, black currant, cardamom and savoury wild herb. On the palate it is layered and supple, revealing black cherry and roast espresso notes intertwined with mountain minerals and a hint of tangy orange spice. The wine is lush with ripe chocolatey tannins that lead to a long, expressive finish. 2015, though small in volume, is a mighty vintage for Continuum; one to savour today or age and appreciate for decades to come.

Crown Royal 18 has enticing aromatics of vanilla and stone fruit. On the palate, velvety body of light oak is tempered by caramel spice. Delicate notes of nougat linger in the full-bodied finish. This is the crown jewel of our rare stock.

The varietal composition for this vintage is 56% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 3% Cabernet Franc, and 1% Petit Verdot. It has been aged a total of 24 months in barrel. Enticing aromas of black cherry, red currant and rose petals mingle with sophisticated hints of hazelnut, clove, caramel and fig preserves. A silky palate with juicy layers of plum, tayberry and chocolate-covered blueberries are framed by elegantly structured tannins, with notes of red licorice, mint, maple and sage adding complexity to a long, dynamic finish.
