Dark red in the glass, its legs cascade slowly due to its concentration and power. Possessing aromas of licorice, dark fruits and vanilla, this theme carries through on the palate with loads of rich, sweet fruit all wrapped in chalky, ripe tannins persistence and structure to support the concentration of flavour. Medium to full bodied palate weight, characterised by firm tannins and a savoury masculine finish. An ideal accompaniment to red meat and premium cuts of prime beef. Will continue to improve over the next 4-6 years.

Deep garnet-purple in colour. Notes of blackcurrant cordial, blueberry preserves and spearmint with touches of eucalyptus and espresso. Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, it has a lively acidic backbone and a medium level of fine-grained tannins finishing with lingering minted berry notes.
