clean, light raspberry & juniper, On the nose. Quite smooth, off dry, with warming & pronounced raspberry & juniper, On the palate. In balance, with lighter cardamom & black pepper notes. The medium finish has some complexity, with an aftertaste of juniper & raspberry. Overall, this is a pleasant, flavoured gin with a relatively simple, balanced flavour profile.

On the nose you'll find a pleasant molasses aroma coupled with some fruit-think ripe cherries and apples. Some oak notes are also found, but in more of a supporting role. The rum is rather elegant on the palate and is neither drying or oily. It's modestly sweet and has a nice tang to it which helps to balance the flavours. The finish also shows more influence of the oak offering up a bittersweet finish.

Havana Club 3 Años is the result of blending aged and aromatic sugarcane aguardientes with extra light sugarcane distillates. This batch of rums is then allowed to rest in white oak barrels after which the Maestro Ronero chooses the best barrels and blends the final three-year-old rum, which is again set to rest, then filtered and bottled. Light straw in appearance with aromas of vanilla, caramelized pears, banana and hints of smoked oak. Pleasant palate, with smoky, vanilla and chocolate notes.

Havana Club Anejo 7 embodies Cuban rum-making excellence and is recognized as one of the best aged rums in the world. On the nose intermingled notes of toffee, honeycomb and coffee, a little spice and dried peels with notes of orchard fruits and biscuits, while the palate shows notes of cigar box, cedar wood, guava and banana leaf.

Some aging occurs in used Islay whiskey casks. Notes of dried fruit and a delicate smokiness on the nose; on the palate intense smoky flavour with a gentle sweetness and cocoa/dark chocolate flavours, followed by a lingering dry spiciness.
