Il Vino dei Poeti Prosecco is a Brut sparkling wine, obtained by Glera grapes grown according to classic, traditional techniques in the province of Treviso. The Gabbiano Pinot Grigio is a sunny straw-yellow colour. Floral notes caress the nose, with nuances of pear and honeydew melon. The mouth feel is lively and full in structure created by the excellent harmony of fruit and acid. The wine is light-bodied, with a long finish that reveals hints of citrus and almonds.

The 100% Riesling grapes from The View vineyards in East Kelowna were hand sorted and whole bunch pressed. Fermentation occurred in two different tanks at different temperatures with different yeast strains for complexity. One wine was fermented dry while the other wines’ fermentation was stopped leaving some residual sugar. The batches were then blended to balance the sweetness and acidity. Aromas of white flower and honey-crisp apple lead way to flavours of Jasmine, lime and mineral notes.
