Basil Hayden toast is dark amber in colour with aromas and flavours of toasted oak that are complemented by dried fruit and caramelized sugar.

This expression was created from a mash that by law had to be no lower than 51% rye; following distillation it was aged in new charred oak barrels for 10 years.
