The 2010 Cognac cask is a limited edition rare cask finished, non chill-filtered Irish single malt whiskey. After maturing quietly for exactly 7 and a half years in Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, Helen Mulholland, our Master Blender, finished this whiskey in rare Cognac casks for 2 and a half years. Forty Creek Confederation Oak is the colour of old gold and is a very full bodied whisky. To the nose it is a big whisky with constantly evolving aromas and flavours.
