This cuvée made with about 85% Merlot and 15% Cabernet Franc is a blend of different lots reflecting the diversity of all local terroirs: the clay bringing the body, the gravel giving the structure and the chalk ensuring the finesse. The current blend is mainly the 2010 vintage ; the exceptional climatic conditions of this vintage are expressed when tasting the wine which shows a deep intense color, some scents of black fruits (mulberries, cherries) greatly backed up by a lovely integrated tanic structure, this enhancing a long and complex final.

On the nose, the bouquet spirals through sweet, bright floral notes and the lively minerality so typical of Dom Pérignon, then notes of candied fruit, plants, the incredible freshness of camphor leaf and finally the dark hints of spices and liquorice root. On the palate, the wine is currently still physical. It is compelling, tactile and vibrant rather than aromatic. The rhythm and tempo are more dominant than the melody. At first mild and delicate, then strongly, confidently mineral, persistent, precise, with a refined bitterness, and an iodine, saline tang.

Harvest occurs early in the morning and the fruit is then immediately pressed. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel cuves. A low temperature is kept while the wine is raised on fine lees in the cuve for eleven months and then bottled in September. The honey & white acacia blossom perfume is a rare treat. Youthful deliciousness.

Pale yellow with green hints. Rich, with notes of grapefruit and tropical fruits. A very aromatic palate, round and acidulous. Beautiful length.

This is a 95% Merlot and 5% Cabernet Franc blend. It has aged for 12 mths in second fill barrels. The nose displays all the subtleties of the great Pomerol wines, mingling aromas of fresh raspberry, blackberry, black pepper, Earl Grey tea and lavender. The silky mouthfeel and lush flavours of red fruit prolong its expression on the palate. Its intensity lingers with hints of spice, liquorice and brown sugar.

This blend is comprised of Grenache, Syrah and Carignan grapes. Bouquet of ripe fruits (blackcurrants, blackberries), crystallized fruit and spices. On the palate this is a big wine with plenty of very ripe rounded tannins.

A deep red colour with flashes of violet. The nose reveals complex aromas of small red and black fruit. On the palate, this blend blossoms into complex aromas of ripe red fruit, backed by notes of liquorice, gingerbread, and scrubland.

A complex & subtle balance between the characteristic flavours of old XO Cognac - dried fruit, gingerbread, nutmeg, roasted coffee, honey, and caramelized orange. We slightly decreased the level of sugar to meet amateur's expectation for less sweet spirit.
