This is a premium blend of select single estate rums, distilled, Bourbon barrel-aged and blended on the East Bank of the Demerara River in the lush tropical Caribbean country of Guyana.  An explosion of banana, vanilla, shortbread, candied almonds and toasted oat aromas. Additional notes of dark brown sugar and island spices (nutmeg, clove and cinnamon), vanilla bean, cocoa, dark honey, caramel and oak. Havana Club 3 Años is the result of blending aged and aromatic sugarcane aguardientes with extra light sugarcane distillates. This batch of rums is then allowed to rest in white oak barrels after which the Maestro Ronero chooses the best barrels and blends the final three-year-old rum, which is again set to rest, then filtered and bottled. Light straw in appearance with aromas of vanilla, caramelized pears, banana and hints of smoked oak. Pleasant palate, with smoky, vanilla and chocolate notes.
