Somewhere between dark amber and brown, substantial amount of smoke, both in the aroma and flavor, burnt wood, fire pit, hints of smoked meat, beef jerky, smoke is brilliantly balanced with the malts, caramel and amber grains, cooked grains, toasted bread, slight earthy and grassy notes, some malty sweetness, burnt caramel, molasses, hints of dark fruit, lingering smoke.

Following fermentation, the wine is aged in American oak barrels for 18 months. Cherry red colour with a thin terracotta edge, reflecting longer barrel age. Complex aromas of dark fruits, toffee and balsamic as well as some mineral notes. Silky, refreshing, well balanced fruit and noticeable spicy oak characteristics.
