Rich, golden colour with green edges. Aromatic with notes of freshly cut grass and green apple. On the palate, there are hints of citrus fruits, green apple, passion fruit along with a luscious lemongrass finish.

The vines are grown on low-vigour, stony, clay-rich soil, in a cool maritime mesoclimate. The naturally tiny yields of under 30 hl/ha and philosophy of expressing the terroir in the wines- give rise to a certain tightness, tannin line and elevated length to balance the richness and generosity of this Pinot Noir. Wonderfully high natural acidity and dense, complex, concentrated fruit flavours. Soft, “sweet” and generally shows hints of that alluring savoury “primal” character along with a dark, spicy, complex primary fruit perfume. Like 2009, another excellent vintage.

Strong and complex liqueur. Hints of citrus, star anise, ginger. Made with 56 precious herbs, woods, spices, fruits, blossoms, seeds and roots. Unmistakably Jägermeister. Best consumed ice-cold.

Deep ruby red in appearance. A lively nose bursting with flavours of strawberries, raspberries, red peppercorns with a delicate oak spice. Full-bodied with dense grippy tannins and a powerful mid palate, flavours of red fruit follow with an elegant backbone. The palate is refined and elegant, ending with a long rich finish.

Monkey 47 is a batch distilled and handcrafted gin from Germany’s Black Forest, and was created with the use of 47 ingredients. Clear with a silvery, glycerous appearance. Crisp and fresh on the nose. The initial perfumed burst is of sweet berry / juniper and assorted fresh citrus peel; further aeration releases pine needle, lavender and clove-like scents.

Matured in American Virgin Oak casks and then finished in ex-Bourbon casks. Aromas of liquorice, gentle beeswax, honey on crisp toast, and tender notes of vanilla. Flavours of coffee mocha, orange peel and delicate spice float on active tannins while gentle oils enjoy gifts of dark cocoa tones.

The Nirvana commences with a soft whiff of bourbon, fruitcake and an enticing caramel pudding. The honeycomb sweetness gently touches the palate with a mild salt-tinged barley while the succulent vanilla heralds the honeyed finish of this rich copper whisky.

Aromas of fig, apricot and banana lead way to flavours of barley with creamy butterscotch, dry fruits and fruit cake. The finish is long and exquisite, with chocolate fudge, orange peel and exotic wine drenched nuts.

Nose: The smoky, sweet and earthy fragrances have mellow resonances of spice. Palate: As the crisp Muscovado and Demerara sugars create layered nuances, the smokiness of the Single Malt sets in, creating a perfect balance. A hint of spice radiates from the hickory and Dominican-style cocoa. Finish: The delicate finish of this Single Malt has notes of Dominican cocoa laced with the tart edge of marmalade.

Paul John XO is made from the famed Ugni Blanc and the rich Bangalore purple grape. The brandy is matured in specially selected, medium toasted new French limousine oak barrels. With gentle honey aromas, orange zest and a touch of herbs that enhance the tender raisin and sweet oak flavours, the exotic Paul John XO is matured and distilled in Goa.

Riesling Trockenbeerenauslese from the VDP classified side Pettenthal in Nierstein, Rheinhessen. Steep hill, red slate soil condition located close to the river Rhine. Natural sweetness, dark amber colour; opulent nose with aromas of dried mango, pineapple and honey.

Riesling Beerenauslese from the VDP classified side Herrenberg in Oppenheim, Rheinhessen. Chalk soil condition located close to the St. Kathrin cathedral in the city of Oppenheim. Natural sweetness, amber colour; opulent nose with aromas of dried peaches and mango and honey.

This red blend shows aromatic layers of fresh red fruit, cassis and pencil shavings with undertones of tobacco and dark chocolate. The palate is elegant and soft with nuances of oak and dark plums.

Bernkasteler Badstube Riesling Beerenauslese smells of liqueur-like, jellied, vanilla- and chocolate-covered purple plums and black cherries. The implosive palate concentration though is simply beyond “liqueur-like” and into realms I can’t recall. Strong brown spices, herbal concentrates add complexity and a buttery, creamy texture does not prevent this wine from preserving the most remarkable clarity of jellied pit fruit concentration, photo-electric brilliance of fruit acids lighting the way to an endless finish.

Fully ripe grapes with 10% botrytis were selectively hand-picked in early November, preceded by a “green Harvest” in mid-September. Fermentation with grapes' own “wild” yeast in a stainless-steel tank took 9 months. Very concentrated golden fruits and honey notes; very elegant. Ageing potential of 30+ years.
