Aging in both bourbon and sherry casks is responsible for the complex flavour profile. Aromas include: chocolate, delicate spice and dried fruits. The palate is balanced and sold with hints of caramel and wood.

The nose is full of caramel and dark brown sugar, buttery toffee and a little spice with pepper and vanilla. The palate is smooth and rich and rather dry with buttery spice notes and dark sugar, a little oak. The finish is of good length with dark sugar.

Baking spices, namely cinnamon, accompanied by bitter dark chocolate, exotic fruit sweetness, raisins and a hint of dark liquorice and orange peel on the finish.

Matusalem makes triple-distilled, hand-crafted, blended spirits. During the Solera method, young and older rums are blended many times in French oak barrels. Gran Reserva 23 is dark, rich, golden with brilliant red and amber tones. It evokes sweet vanilla, molasses, caramel and plums on the nose and tastes delicate, velvety smooth with hints of vanilla, molasses and caramel. Dry flavors take center-stage before slowly ebbing away for a long satisfying finish.

A brown/chestnut in appearance, initial deep scents of brown sugar and toffee; then candied walnut, toasted marshmallow, treacle and dark, old honey. Creamy in texture, with highlights of burnt sugar and cocoa, earthy, grassy and lean, with pocket flavours of treacle and marzipan.

An ode to the great outdoors, Tincup is a blend of two great American whiskeys, "high rye" bourbon is blended with a small amount of Colorado single malt whiskey and cut with rocky mountain water. Aromas of dry winter spices, toasted brioche, with a flavour that is semi-sweet, dry raisin, apples, and cinnamon with a spicy finish. Enjoy on the rocks or in a cocktail.
