Our Merlot Les Jamelles is a very complex, rich, long and fat wine. With its dark colour, it displays aromas of crushed black fruits (blackberries, black currants, and cherries), jam and cooked fruits as well as smoky scents (peat) and spicy perfumes (cinnamon, thyme). This wine is round, rich and long-lasting on the palate with mature tannins on the finish. It is a well-balanced easy-drinking wine.

On the palate, this wine is complex, rich, long and fat. It displays aromas of crushed black fruits (blackberries, blackcurrants, cherries) and jam. The tannins are plump and well-integrated. A blend of Monastrell, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. The different varietals are vinified separately. The grapes are hand - picked, crushed and destemmed prior to fermentation in concrete vats. Malolactic fermentation takes place in Hungarian oak barrels. The wines are barrel aged for 6 months. Balsamic aromas and spices on a background of ripe fruits.

The 2010 Cognac cask is a limited edition rare cask finished, non chill-filtered Irish single malt whiskey. After maturing quietly for exactly 7 and a half years in Oloroso sherry butts and bourbon barrels, Helen Mulholland, our Master Blender, finished this whiskey in rare Cognac casks for 2 and a half years. The fruit-rich Cognac imparts mellow dried fruit notes and a spicy vanilla sweetness.
