The distinct character of the Aberfeldy 12 is the result of uniting the Highland's finest natural resources. Created with fresh spring water from the nearby Pitilie Burn, they are truly "Scotch" Scotches, as only Scottish Optic Barley is used. Colour: Full, gold yellow. Nose: Floral, light smoke, nutty, orange zest. Palate: Fresh, hint of sweetness, honey, oak, citrus. Body: Full bodied. Finish: Long, subtle vanilla, soft oily, subtle sweetness.

This wine is aged in American oak barrels for 24 months and then for an extended period in bottle. Bright red wine with garnet rim, turning to brick, showing its extended ageing in barrels and bottle. Complex aromas of mature dark fruit, vanilla and cinnamon spice with mineral notes. Intense aromas of fresh raspberry and cherry, combine with more complex aromas of prune, earthy notes and sweet spice. On the palate there are flavours of raspberries and wild berries that lead to a long spicy finish.

Deep ruby - red colour. Complex nose of mulberry and Damsons. Full - bodied with hints of leather and dried wild strawberries. Excellent balance with fruit and savoury characteristics in a long finish.

An explosion of crackling peat sets off millions of flavour explosions on the tongue: peat effervesces with tangy lemon and lime juice, black pepper pops with sizzling cinnamon-spiced toffee. This is followed by a wave of brine infused with smooth buttermilk, ripe bananas and currants. Smoke gradually wells up on the palate bringing a mouthful of warm creamy cappuccino and toasted marshmallows. As the taste lengthens and deepens, dry espresso, liquorice root and tarry smoke develop coating the palate with chewy peat oils.

Ardbeg An Oa is singularly rounded, due to time spent in their newly established bespoke oak gathering vat, where whiskies from several cask types, familiarize themselves with each other. The result is a dram with smoky power, mellowed by a delectable, smooth sweetness. Hallmark Ardbeg peat, dark chocolate and aniseed are wrapped in smooth, silky butterscotch, black pepper and clove, before rising to an intense crescendo of flavour.

Full-flavoured and rich with a deep mouth-coating texture, the taste is an intriguing balance between sweet, spicy and deep smoky flavours. Initially sweet as Christmas cake begins to soak into the tongue. A burst of winter spices sets off a smoky-spicy explosion countered by a sumptuous mid-palate of honey glazed smoked food and chewy treacle.

The complex nose boasts fresh herbs, hints of vanilla, pear, fresh cracked black pepper, honey glazed ham, Turkish coffee and pine notes. It is rich on the palate with lots of chocolate, tar smoked back and eucalyptus. The finish is long with hints of cocoa, fudge and savoury meats.

Colour Burnished gold Nose At bottle strength the influence of the two styles of maturation casks complement each other producing a full-bodied smooth aroma. The maturity that shows through comes from the America barrels and the spicy creamy nose from the old style smaller casks. A touch of water allows the full complexity of the Highland Peated Malt to appear. The rich softness linked with smooth, slightly dry aroma is combined with just enough earthy peat smoke to avoid being overpowering. Palate At bottle strength the full rich flavours burst and fill the mouth with a creamy peat tang and a touch of vanilla’s soft gentleness. If a touch of water is added then the flavours increase with the addition of a sweet ripe fruit start followed by the tang of peat.

Intensely fruity aroma that explodes with freshness and flavours of citrus fruits in the mouth and better yet the wine is not overly sweet, making it a joy to drink. This Sangria is produced like wine and during fermentation lemons and soft fruit that are grown within the vines are added, giving the natural fruitiness to the wine.

The palate is smooth and sweet with hints of tangerine and lime.
