The Chimay White has a golden colour, a slightly hazy appearance and a fine head. Its aroma is the result of an agreeable combination of fresh hops and yeast. The beer’s flavour comes from the smell of hops: above all it is the fruity notes of muscat and raisins that gives this beer a particularly attractive aroma. The aroma complements a touch of bitterness. There is no acidity, but an after-bitterness which melts in the mouth.

Duchesse Chocolate Cherry is a refreshing cherry ale maturated in oak casks with addition of 200 gram per litre of only whole cherries and natural cocoa.

This Limited Edition Imperial Black Lager could also be considered a fruited, heavy twist on the German Dunkelweizen, a style that dates back to the 16th century when Bavarian brewers began using darker wheat malts in their beers. A slight hop bitterness balances a vinous complexity otherwise not traditionally found in this style. There is no burnt flavour despite the use of dark malts, and behind the initial sweetness and full, smooth body you will find red wine character, with notes of tart plum, stone fruit, tobacco, vanilla & toffee lingering on a somewhat dry finish.
