Basil Hayden toast is dark amber in colour with aromas and flavours of toasted oak that are complemented by dried fruit and caramelized sugar.

This expression was created from a mash that by law had to be no lower than 51% rye; following distillation it was aged in new charred oak barrels for 10 years. The result is aromas of sweet vanilla, oak and a touch of light fruit are followed by the taste is of spice, oak, hints of caramel, tobacco and warm cinnamon.

The maple smoked sea salt is less bitter and less salty than usual sea salt with a smoky, savoury zing and an almost sweet but briny taste.

Clear, pale straw golden. Pita bread maltiness with white fruit, hints of subtle peatiness and floral honeysuckle. Wonderfully rounded and flavoursome.
