Blackened Whisky started as a collaboration between Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and Metallica, but when Dave passed away in 2018, Master Distiller Rob Dietrich joined the team in 2019 and now oversees the Blackened American Whiskey distilling process. A blend of hand-selected, well-aged North American bourbon & rye whiskeys, uniquely finished in black brandy casks and the earth-shattering music of Metallica. Each batch of whiskey is blasted with it's very own Metallica playlist, curated by the band themselves. Burnt caramel, oak and honey on the nose along with notes of cinnamon, allspice, dark fruit, clove and mint. The finish is long and smooth with a taste profile that is slightly creamy with hints of butterscotch, toffee and maple.

This deep amber whiskey has a complex aroma of vanilla, mint and molasses. Pleasantly sweet to the taste with notes of brown sugar and spice that give way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. This whiskey finishes long and smooth with serious depth.

Matured for an initial 9 years in American White Oak ex-Bourbon casks. During the final 3 years the whiskey is transferred to 30 year old Gonzalez Byass Matusalem Oloroso Sherry butts.

This whisky is finished in heavily charred barrels giving it a deep amber colour. Aromas include: tree fruit, pear, apple, sourdough rye, honey, vanilla, and oak wood. The body complex with flavours of rye spices, white pepper, clove, walnuts, toasted sugar and charred wood. Long smooth finish.

Maker’s Mark boasts a golden amber colour; crème brûlée aroma; sweet vanilla and caramel flavours with a smooth spicy finish. Serve over ice. Pairs well with braised short ribs, chili, pulled pork sandwiches, and even as a marinade.

This whiskey has been aged in fire-charred, new American white oak barrels. Aromas and flavours of spice, pepper, citrus, butterscotch and oak.

First produced in Maryland in the 1890s, Pikesville Rye, along with the rest of the once-booming Maryland Rye industry, was shuttered by Prohibition. The brand re-emerged after Prohibition and became the last standing Maryland Rye, as the rest of the industry's production had ceased. The taste is dry and spicy, with honeyed rye and cloves. A soft vanilla and baking spices as the finish.
