This deep amber whisky offers aromas of stewed plums with balsamic glaze, red berries and cooked nectarines, sweet and oily. A hint of maraschino cherry liqueur, rich toffee and caramel, rose petals, cinnamon and a hint of scented wood and tannic rioja. This 21 year old single malt is triple distilled and aged in second fill sherry casks. To the nose: ripe gooseberry, citrus peel, sweet vanilla, oak and fresh cut barley notes. This expression was created from a mash that by law had to be no lower than 51% rye; following distillation it was aged in new charred oak barrels for 10 years. The result is aromas of sweet vanilla, oak and a touch of light fruit are followed by the taste is of spice, oak, hints of caramel, tobacco and warm cinnamon.

Mezcal BRIJ3 was born through an effort to embrace the customs and traditions of Oaxaca, and the artisans of San Martín Tilcajete, known as "the place where the Alebrijes are born."Each bottle is hand painted by the regional artists of San Martín Tilcajete, with their own designs and colours, making each bottle unique to itself. Aromas of freshly cut grass, chlorophyll, citrus fruits such as lemon and lime, as well as smoked and toasted notes. On the palate it is youthful and strong with balanced acidity, offering a long finish with a pleasant balance of smoke and a fresh lingering herbaceous quality.

This single malt is malted to a stratospheric 137.3 PPM and matured in the highest quality American oak casks. Initial aromas of sweet nutty smoke, barley sugar and ripe fruit lead way to syrupy apricot, ripe peat, malty vanilla, crème brulee, honey, tablet, coconut, almonds and charred oak.
