On the nose, a complex of aromas including anise, cut grass, white flowers and lime citrus mingle seamlessly. Dry and full bodied, the palate is very intense and well extracted, with great tension between acidity and richness on the attack and in the middle. Crisp yellow plum, Granny Smith apple and green melon flavours are present throughout, and carry on to the finish alongside mouth-watering acidity and crushed-stone minerality.

Soft citrus notes are peeking through and complement the balanced acidity in the wine. Serve chilled to approximately 12°C. This medium to full-bodied Red has good structure and mouth-feel, moderate to firm tannins, balancing acidity, and rich, ripe fruit-forward flavours of black currant, black cherry and blackberry, accented by sweet spice, oak, dark chocolate and anise.

Aromas of black currants, red cherries, and sweet plums are joined on the palate with hints of mint, flint and a touch of chocolate. The mid-weight texture leads to a light tannin grip on a fresh, dry finish. Enjoy now with red meats such as a mixed grill with barbeque sauce.
