It is bright, dark-hued purple-red with intense bluish notes. the nose is bold with outstanding red fruits. Sadashi is a Japanese whiskey with a golden colour. The nose has a woody scent with hints of vanilla and flowers. On the palate, the fresh wooden barrel dominates with a hint of nectar, pure malt, a little citrus, oak notes, Mizunara, coffee beans. Aging occurs in in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks, and then delicately finished in Mizunara oak casks. Mizunara is one of the rarest and most expensive types of oak in the world, and gives a delicate touch of spicy flavour and sandalwood to this remarkable spirit.
