Louis XIII is made using grapes grown in Grande Champagne – the premier cru of the Cognac region. Provenance and time are the very essence of LOUIS XIII cognac. Each drop represents a finely tuned craft passed down from one generation of Cellar Master to the next. It has been slowly aged in old Limousin tiercons (traditional aged French oak casks). Every sip is a taste of time. The hand-crafted decanter from the finest European crystal house is individually numbered and unique.

Stainless steel fermented followed by oak aging for 6 months. Vibrant aromas of black cherry and cassis. Silky smooth tannins on the palate with rich flavours of vanilla followed by a hint of blueberry on the finish.

Fresh, fruity and aromatic. This beautiful rose wine shows flavours of strawberries and red cherries and posseses crisp acidity and has a long, lingering finish.

Initial aging has occurred in sherry, bourbon and Hogshead casks and then finished in Mizunara Oak. Aromas of honey, wisps of chocolate, dry grass and bonfire smoke. On the palate caramel, coffee, gently smoke, seaweed and vanilla. Long finish with notes of salted caramel.

This expression “Finished in Port Casks” IS a limited edition (only 13 360 individually numbered bottles were produced). Maturation occurred in oak casks; some previously held Tawny Port and others previously held a fortified Portuguese wine produced in the Douro region. The nose is well-balanced notes of black and dry fruits (raisin, prune) roasted nuts, coffee, dried flowers, honey and toffee. The taste is smooth and subtle. Dry fruits aromas, notes of black fruits and roasted nuts, with a hint of minerality.

The barrel aged Chardonnay follows the guiding philosophy, oak should be to wine as seasoning is to food. Enough to add interest and complexity but not so much that it overwhelms.

A precise seven-barrel blend yields intriguing citrus, green apple and pineapple with butter, honey, lavender and vanilla nuances. The palate has nice weight, yet balanced by lovely cool-climate acidity and seamless oak integration. Yeasty, bready, toasty flavours are felt onto a long, warm finish.

This semi-dry, refreshing palate is clean and fruit driven. Lifted aromatics pairing nuances of citrus fruit such as lime zest and white grapefruit with subtle mineral that only bench fruit can create. Citrus and minerality reappear on the palate joined by Granny Smith apple, white peach and honey. Zippy and mouth-watering.

A blend of 41.9% Merlot, 35.2% Cabernet Franc and 18.7% Cabernet Sauvignon, with just a touch of Zweigelt and Dornfelder. The individual wines were given subtle oak integration for 6 months with French and American oak, before the final assemblage was created. A full malolactic fermentation to soften the mouthfeel. Bright garnet colour with a bouquet of currant, blue plum, cherry, wild strawberry, and subtle spice and oak. A medium-bodied, fruit-forward red wine with soft tannins for a smooth mouthfeel, and flavours of juicy red and black fruits with a touch of sweet spice. Notes of red cherry, pomegranate, sweet spice, and a touch of black tea linger on the finish.

Clear and bright with a clean fresh aroma of apple, Anjou pear and melon. A light, smooth yet refreshing white wine. Lovely fruit flavours of melon, pear, and tropical fruit glide across the palate, followed by notes of citrus, green apple and pineapple lingering through on the finish.

Deep garnet colour with a rich, warming bouquet of black cherry, black currant, vanilla extract, smoke, oak, black pepper and coffee bean. This red blend has a medium to full-bodied mouth-feel with soft yet drying tannins and bold, fruit-forward flavours of blueberry, black cherry, black currant and sweet spice. Notes of black tea, black currant, blackberry, spice, cocoa powder and sweet vanilla linger on the finish.

Pale lemon colour; delicate floral, citrus and stone fruit aromas; dry, medium body with fresh apple, lemon and mineral flavours.

This easy-drinking Cabernet / Merlot has shades of dark ripe fruit, tobacco and leather. Fresh and juicy on the palate with a touch of tannin. This blend of Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling combines the best of two noble varieties. The perfumed nose shows pineapple, mango, peach and nectarine with a slight herbal aroma. Well-ripened fleshy tropical and stone fruit add to a perception of sweetness and carry through on a palate mixed with a hint of cool herbal flavour. The lush textured mouth feel and crisp acidity leads to a refreshing clean finish with great length. Enjoy by itself or match with patio fare such as chicken or salad.
