This Limited Edition Imperial Black Lager could also be considered a fruited, heavy twist on the German Dunkelweizen, a style that dates back to the 16th century when Bavarian brewers began using darker wheat malts in their beers. A slight hop bitterness balances a vinous complexity otherwise not traditionally found in this style. There is no burnt flavour despite the use of dark malts, and behind the initial sweetness and full, smooth body you will find red wine character, with notes of tart plum, stone fruit, tobacco, vanilla & toffee lingering on a somewhat dry finish.

This New England IPA is straw to yellow, hazy and opaque in appearance. It features intense hop aroma, of tropical fruit and citrus, without being grassy or herbaceous.
