Blackened Whisky started as a collaboration between Master Distiller Dave Pickerell and Metallica, but when Dave passed away in 2018, Master Distiller Rob Dietrich joined the team in 2019 and now oversees the Blackened American Whiskey distilling process. A blend of hand-selected, well-aged North American bourbon & rye whiskeys, uniquely finished in black brandy casks and the earth-shattering music of Metallica. Each batch of whiskey is blasted with it's very own Metallica playlist, curated by the band themselves. The finish is long and smooth with a taste profile that is slightly creamy with hints of butterscotch, toffee and maple.

Blade and Bow Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey uses a unique Solera System aging process to preserve some of the distillery’s oldest whiskey stocks. Aged in new charred American white oak barrels, this bourbon has a subtle aroma of fresh fruit and a taste that includes hints of dried apricot, ripe pear and a sweet roasted grain. The finish has notes of charred oak and warm winter spices.

For our take on a North American IPA, we’ve squeezed every last drop of oily & resiny goodness out of our favourite American hops. Restrained malt character, high mineral content water, high carbonation, and moderate bitterness combine to create a distinctively dry beer. Hop oil subdues the bitterness. A blend of Monastrell, Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon. The different varietals are vinified separately. The grapes are hand - picked, crushed and destemmed prior to fermentation in concrete vats. Malolactic fermentation takes place in Hungarian oak barrels. The wines are barrel aged for 6 months. Balsamic aromas and spices on a background of ripe fruits.
