One whiff and your nose is smacked with an attractive assortment of rich, ripe, jammy red and black fruit aromas with hints of licorice and black pepper mixed in. On the palate it has a velvety smooth texture, with ripe black fruits pepper and hints of earth.

This is a blend of Grenache Noir and Syrah grapes. Deep, bright ruby color. Fruity and spiced bouquet evoking notes of cassis and prune. On the palate fresh and full, supple and fruity with dominant notes of small black fruit and licorice. A long and pleasing finish.

Intense crimson-red color. Aromas of blackcurrant and plum followed by roasted coffee and cinnamon, cherry, morello cherry. Spice and fruit in balance on the palate.

Very dark, intense, ruby - red colour. Complex aroma of blackberries and blackcurrants, floral and earthy notes of fresh moss, accented by hints of new leather, ginger and allspice. The silky tannin structure provides a remarkably long finish, marked by fresh, exotic fruit flavours.

Brilliant ruby color with tile tints, showing a good maturity. Aromas of dry fruits, wood, truffle, venison, spices, all in a perfect harmony. Powerful tannins on the palate.

Champagne Pol Roger created their Prestige Cuvée in homage to Sir Winston Churchill mindful of the qualities that he sought in his champagne : robustness, a full-bodied character and relative maturity. The exact blend is a closely guarded family secret. Composed exclusively of grapes sourced from Grands Crus Pinot Noir and Chardonnay vineyards which were already under vine during Churchill's lifetime. Pinot Noir predominates, providing structure, breadth and robustness whilst Chardonnay contributes elegance, finesse and subtlety. Cuvée Sir Winston Churchill is only made in the very best vintages and is always released later than the other vintage dated Champagnes from Pol Roger, marking Churchill's appreciation for older wines.
