This wine was finished in whisky barrels for 3 months. Aromas of dark fruit, mixed nuts, graphite, and cassis to start. The palate is equally dynamic with notes of blueberry pie, cardamom, chai tea, all spice and toffee.

The vines are grown on low-vigour, stony, clay-rich soil, in a cool maritime mesoclimate. The naturally tiny yields of under 30 hl/ha and philosophy of expressing the terroir in the wines- give rise to a certain tightness, tannin line and elevated length to balance the richness and generosity of this Pinot Noir. This malbec is deep in colour with intense flavours of berries, plum, spice and subtle floral notes.

If you are pairing it with food, try it with a fresh strawberry tart, cherry cheesecake or chocolate mousse.
