The colour is so deep and dense it is almost opaque. The nose is expansive, complex and elegant with vibrant black fruit aromas alongside praline and hints of mahogany, while the palate is full and luscious, its richness balancing beautifully with a vein of elegant minerality. Well-structured tannins give a velvety, succulent mouthfeel. The Cabernet Franc grapes have produced a wine of beauty, style and elegance, with excellent aging potential.

The wine is a remarkable effort, with amazing density, extraordinary fruit quality, dense purple colour with meaty notes alongside subtle barbecue smoke, camphor, black currant, sweet cherry, and blackberry. It has a lush, opulent texture, loads of glycerin, and admirable purity and length. It should evolve for 10-15 or more years.

Strong fruity flavors such as pineapple and lychee, as well as rose petal. Hints of spices ( nutmeg and white pepper). When aired the nose exhales subtle notes of gingerbread and ripe fruit. The attack on the palate is delicate and silky.
