The expression of this blended malt is built around whisky drawn from sherry and Spanish red wine casks. 48% of the whisky was aged in ex-sherry casks, while a further 25% was aged in ex-Spanish red wine casks. Notes of citrus peel, red wine and spices. A long finish, with hints of vanilla panna cotta, berries and cherries.

Founded by CEO Connor McGregor, the name from the district of Dublin he grew up in. It’s a blend of triple distilled single malt, Irish grain spirit, and matured in bourbon barrels. The aroma is charred oak, vanilla, honey with flavours of chocolate and ripe green apple, and a soft finish.

Straw yellow colour, with aromas of sea spray, bonfire smoke, damp earth and spicy cinnamon. Flavours of crushed pear, apple and freshly baked bread provide the perfect finish to this memorable melody.

Matured predominantly in European and American sherry seasoned oak casks, this amber spirit has a light, briny vanilla scent and a silky feel. A veil of smoke rises through the Scotch (but fades out fast), leaving behind a sweet nutty, vanilla finish.

Aromas include sherry, Manuka honey, smoke, rich oak, and a little pine resin. The barley harvest for this 2013 vintage was raised on Islay by seven Islay farming partners. This single malt has matured in ex-American and ex-wine casks hailing from the Pessac-Léognan region of France. The first taste is a wondrous thing; all at once, the salinity, the fruit, the light peat smoke, and the sweet oak show their presence in a whirl of complexity to entice you. The aging from carefully selected oak allows a subtle almond note to combine with coconut, caramel, vanilla, and muscovado sugar. The peat smoke in this whisky is as beautifully balanced as ever, weaving through the components, highlighting them but not dominating. A dram that is gentle on the palate yet has a tremendous depth of flavour.

This single malt is malted to a stratospheric 137.3 PPM and matured in the highest quality American oak casks. Initial aromas of sweet nutty smoke, barley sugar and ripe fruit lead way to syrupy apricot, ripe peat, malty vanilla, crème brulee, honey, tablet, coconut, almonds and charred oak. On the palate, dense smoked granola and honeyed lead to smoked apricot jam, barley four, peat embers, burnt heather, gooseberry citrus and sweet Turkish delight. Oak chips, sugared almonds and chocolate limes come toward the finish.

On the palate there is a noticeable delicacy and softness in texture and style. The balance of flavour is superb as the smoke wraps loosely around the sweetness drawn from deep within the oak, Coconut, vanilla custard, lemon honey combines with smoked oysters and sun baked salty sand. The finish is smoky but also the soft sweetness of fudge and malted barley, orange, mango and Banoffee pie hinting of the depth and quality of the oak. The many layers interchange on each sip.

Vanilla sweetness, cinnamon spice and oak smoke beautifully complement the mouth-watering citrus, honeycomb and coconut flakes, culminating in a peat smoked, bourbon vanilla and lime finish.

Delicious toffee and hazelnut mellowed together with sweet peat smoke.

Mellow mahogany in colour with classic Bowmore smokiness. Perfectly tempered with cream caramel, chocolate and ripe fruit aromas. The sip is beautifully soft with fruit and chocolate, balanced by a light smokiness. Savour the long and wonderfully balanced finish.

Colour Burnished gold Nose At bottle strength the influence of the two styles of maturation casks complement each other producing a full-bodied smooth aroma. The maturity that shows through comes from the America barrels and the spicy creamy nose from the old style smaller casks. A touch of water allows the full complexity of the Highland Peated Malt to appear. The rich softness linked with smooth, slightly dry aroma is combined with just enough earthy peat smoke to avoid being overpowering. Palate At bottle strength the full rich flavours burst and fill the mouth with a creamy peat tang and a touch of vanilla’s soft gentleness. If a touch of water is added then the flavours increase with the addition of a sweet ripe fruit start followed by the tang of peat.

The complex nose boasts fresh herbs, hints of vanilla, pear, fresh cracked black pepper, honey glazed ham, Turkish coffee and pine notes. It is rich on the palate with lots of chocolate, tar smoked back and eucalyptus. The finish is long with hints of cocoa, fudge and savoury meats.

Full-flavoured and rich with a deep mouth-coating texture, the taste is an intriguing balance between sweet, spicy and deep smoky flavours. Initially sweet as Christmas cake begins to soak into the tongue. A burst of winter spices sets off a smoky-spicy explosion countered by a sumptuous mid-palate of honey glazed smoked food and chewy treacle.

On the nose, sweet, scented wood, wisps of pine resin, aniseed toffee, citrus and cayenne pepper. Flavourful with notes of smoked brown sugar, sugar coated walnuts and gentle spices.

Fresh, floral, herbal and tart aromas. Flavourful with hints of mixed herbs and cedar wood. Very zesty and vibrant with hints of smoked orange and grapefruit. The taste profile reveals a lively, vibrant, sharp texture leading into very firm, distinctive flavours, malty - biscuit, aniseed and cardamon. The finish is long and lingering with firm notes of mint, tar, oak and leather.

Created with roasted black malt. Notes of charcoal and sweet smoke make for an impactful aroma. Flavourful, with hints of aniseed and dark chocolate in the taste profile.

A marriage of whisky aged in Sauternes wine casks together with classic Ardbeg aged in ex-bourbon casks. Smoked lemon peel, apricot and balsamic vinegar notes.

An explosion of crackling peat sets off millions of flavour explosions on the tongue: peat effervesces with tangy lemon and lime juice, black pepper pops with sizzling cinnamon-spiced toffee. This is followed by a wave of brine infused with smooth buttermilk, ripe bananas and currants. Smoke gradually wells up on the palate bringing a mouthful of warm creamy cappuccino and toasted marshmallows. As the taste lengthens and deepens, dry espresso, liquorice root and tarry smoke develop coating the palate with chewy peat oils.

Heavy, thickly oaked and complex with smoke on the nose turns into warming, full blown peat and then followed by a sherry trifle note. The flavours develop into a really intense chocolate fudge that resonates through the palate.
