This Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey features a handpicked blend of 4- and 7-year-old bourbons, for an exclusive old-fashioned whiskey that honors its deep family origins. Bright gold in colour, aromas of honey, vanilla, caramel and smoky oak and flavours of spicy rye, coconut, vanilla and ginger.

This bourbon is a clear, bright-copper colour; medium intensity with aromas of banana bread, toffee, vanilla, ginger and baking spices; full and warming on the palate, with flavours of banana, vanilla, caramel and ripe tropical fruits; warm spiciness leads to a long finish.

Refined with Texas Mesquite and oak charcoals, this unique method deepens the flavour and complexity of the whiskey. The result is an exceptional bourbon with subtle hints of smoke and spice.

A bright straw gold colour with a ruby red hue. At first swirl of the glass look for top notes of toasty new oak, almond nuttiness, fresh maple caramel and vanilla. Then underlying notes appear suggesting toasty nutmeg spice and stone fruit. After adding a touch of water, added notes of sweet spice and dark raisin develop, complimented with a smooth maple scent. The mouth-feel is smooth, round and robust, with a touch of woody tannins for structure, along with deep notes of toasted nuts and allspice. The finish is long and lingering with a delicately sweet, smooth texture and flavours of nut and allspice.

The whisky is unique as it is cut with pure filtered desalinated ocean water. Aromas include caramel, vanilla, a touch of grain whisky, light honey, some floral and red apples. On the palate caramel, red apples, vanilla, hazelnut and a touch of chocolate.

Clear, pale straw golden. Pita bread maltiness with white fruit, hints of subtle peatiness and floral honeysuckle. Toasted bread maltiness, succulent pear and crisp apple fruit with just enough charcoal and peaty smokiness and dry nutty wood. More dry nutty notes emerge with subtle lingering peat smoke. Wonderfully rounded and flavoursome.

To the nose, lemony citrus with hints of green apples, vanilla/sugar. The taste & the finish are bitter, bitter almond, malty oak. The finish fades to bitter notes of fresh oak. Young whiskey, light and straight forward. Would probably be a very good whiskey to incorporate marmalades recipes.

Made from 100% Canadian Rye, Pendleton 1910 is aged for 12 years in American Oak barrels.
